APHRODITE BEACH HOTEL

I had a truly wonderful one week holiday at hotel Aphrodite, a charming family-run hotel located in the peaceful and scenic Vatera Bay on the island of Lesvos. The hotel is run by two amazing brothers, Yiorgos and Yiannis, who go above and beyond to make every guest feel like part of the family. Their warm hospitality, personal attention, and genuine kindness made my stay truly special. The beach is just a hand across from the hotel — long, clean, and uncrowded, with crystal-clear blue waters. It’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature at its best. The hotel is clean, and comfortable, authentic Greek blue and white atmosphere. The food was another highlight — fresh, homemade, and delicious. I will definitely be coming back!

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children) and my godmother spent several days at Hotel Aphrodite in late June 2024. You will not find a better swimming pool anywhere!! The hotel's location is superb - you walk from the pool/hotel directly to the beautiful beach. The family who owns the hotel is friendly, kind, and extremely professional. We ate at the restaurant several times and food and service was perfect each time. Be sure to try the pizzas and the grilled bread. Our youngest son is still talking about the pool bar toasted sandwiches he ordered at the hotel six months after our stay! Breakfast is served buffet-style and there were plenty of options and plenty of food even if you arrived on the later end of the breakfast hours. We have written requesting another stay this summer :)

The rooms were impeccably clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to be helpful, making the overall experience even better. The hotel is situated in a peaceful and quiet location, ideal for those seeking tranquility. There are several cafes, restaurants, and pubs within walking distance, providing plenty of dining options. Guests also have access to the hotel’s parking and private beach. The sea was crystal clear and perfect for swimming. I highly recommend this hotel for a restful stay.

We loved our experience at Aphrodite Hotel! It's a hidden gem! It allows you to experience Authentic Greek culture instead of the overplayed commercial touristy islands. The family owned hotel was always very welcoming and helpful. They were always ready to help us in any way. Our beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed waking up every morning and eating their delicious continental breakfast which had local cheeses. Our children loved their pool! They have an amazing elephant water slide which kept our children highly entertained. The pool was very clean and enjoyable. We enjoyed ordering drinks,coffee, and desserts poolside. They even have a gym and spa! Vatera Beach was a two minute walk from the hotel. The water is very beautiful, clear and calm. Aphrodite hotel's taverna had the best pizza around. Their souvlaki and fresh cut fries were so delicious! We can't wait to return next year! We're so happy we found Aphrodite hotel. :)

Very good service, The crew is composed by a family, good people that works very well. The food at the restaurant was one of the bests we found in Lesvos island. All what they cook is fresh and homemade( french fries and tzatziki for example ). Prices are low. Beautiful rooms and pool. The beach is at 10 meters to the hotel, you can do breakfast looking at the sea. We went here in 7 persons, EVERYONE IS HAPPY!!

We stayed in this wonderful hotel as a family of four last year and everything was perfect from the begining to the end. The rooms were clean, the pool area was very well looked after and the elephant water slide was an unforgettable fun for the kids. The snacks offered at the beach were delicious and the deliveries were prompt. Their pizzas and tzatzikis were extraordinary with very reasonable price. The parking lot was safe and always available. They did their best to keep our holiday on their facility as flawless as possible and kindly helped and solved in any minor issues occured. Thank you Hahathakis Family and the hard working beach staff! It was an unforgettable experience for our family. We are mentioning your (also our!) place to everybody around us thinking to visit Lesvos. All the best from Istanbul/Turkey...

Aphrodite is an honest family-run establishment, where all family members keep their sleeves rolled up to help at all times. I stayed at the hotel a mere month after the wildfires forced the hotel guests to get evacuated. The hotel owners told me that they single-handedly fought the flames in order to protect the building. Yet they were all sharp and professional throughout my stay. I saw them meet and greet every single guest. They were always happy to answer any queries and discuss potential improvements. One thing is certain, this hotel is by far my favourite on Lesvos and I can’t wait to stay there again.

Came here to go to the beach (did not stay in hotel) Beach is absolutely beautiful, crystal clear water with perfect size pebbles that do not hurt your fest. nice tall umbrellas and sunbeds and service on the beach! What more could you want???

We enjoyed our stay at Aphrodite. The family staff was very friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed the dinners each night in their taverna, which included nightly specials. The beach at the property is beautiful, and it’s also a short drive to many other nice restaurants and beaches. The only thing I’d suggest they add to their services is laundry service. This would be helpful for travelers on long journeys (like us). Highly recommend for families and also couples.
