Excellent. The best in Skala Kallonis. Marianthi and her mother are great hosts. Tasteful decoration and perfect garden. Our only choice in Lesbos if the sea of Gulf of Kalloni was not so shallow and muddy:(
Beautiful and quiet place with a lovely garden! Big appartement with very comfortable beds and everything you need. Cleaning everyday and we've got some fresh fruits from the garden :-) loved the place and the atmosphere!

À quoi s'attendre
Skala Kalloni est un village de pêcheurs discret où les marais salants, les roselières et le bord du golfe sont accessibles à pied, loin de l'agitation des grandes stations balnéaires. Disposer d'une cuisine équipée change la donne lorsque les journées commencent avant l'aube pour l'observation des oiseaux et se terminent tard autour d'un repas de poissons grillés au bord du port. La lumière argentée et diffuse qui se pose sur le golfe fait partie du charme du lieu — beaucoup de visiteurs prévoient quelques jours et finissent par rester davantage.
Quand y aller
Avril et mai sont les mois idéaux pour les migrations printanières ; septembre et octobre offrent une deuxième vague, tandis que l'été convient aux baignades et aux soirées en terrasse.
Comment s'y rendre
Skala Kalloni se trouve à environ 32 km de Mytilène, soit une quarantaine de minutes de route en empruntant la route principale qui traverse le centre de l'île.

I loved the place because it was everything it advertised to be.A quiet apartment in a quiet garden just a short walk from the sea.The room was spotless and had everything I needed.All items were new and the place was tidied up every day by a wonderful Mrs Helen I who is welcoming and kind like few I ever met.You can park in the garden that's full of fruit baring trees and there are flower beds everywhere.Each appartment has its own little sitting area with shade and clothes lines to hang a wet bathing costume.The extra wide double bed was a treat.Would definitely go back for the rooms and kindnes shown to me.

Lovely place, basic stay and not that much basics to cook. Only one pan and one pot. The room was super clean, every day again the bed was made, the bathroom and toilet cleaned and our dishes done. Extremely friendly host, really nice people!

Good things first: the pool area is nice and the hotel manager/ and the Rio. Was nice and clean This is a family run hotel but only the oldest son ever treated us with any kind of hospitality. The rest of the family never greeted us, or smiled at us. One night the father even came up to us, and yelled at us in Greek. We assume we did something wrong, but he would not explain what was wrong and neither would anyone else. We had breakfast and dinner included in the price. Now that was a mistake. Mornings were the same every day, except with a variation of eggs. But the same old cereal and stale bread. One night we were even served mouldy dinner. Mouldy!! If you stay here, eat at the restaurant across the hotel. They know what they are doing.

We stayed about 4 week in this structure. It was clean and well done. All the necessity of an apartment are available. All the apartments are at ground floor, are modern and are surrounded by garden. But the real added value is the family that handle the area. Yanis, the owner , Eleni, his wife, and Marianthi, his beautiful daughter, are helpful, friendly and they solve any problem you can have. The position is central in Lesbos so, with a car, you can reach the farther part of island (Sigri, Erasou,Plomari) In 1:15-1:45 hours. Vatera, Mithilene, Petra and the north-west island area in about 45 minutes.
