Antones è un ristorante situato a Skala Eresou, il villaggio costiero baciato dal sole sulla punta sud-occidentale di Lesbo, noto per la sua lunga spiaggia sabbiosa e l'atmosfera bohémien rilassata. A pochi passi dalla riva, offre quel tipo di esperienza culinaria senza fretta che definisce una vacanza balneare greca — cibo fresco, buona compagnia e il suono dolce dell'Egeo in sottofondo. I visitatori possono aspettarsi un menu radicato nella tradizione della taverna greca, con pesce fresco, carni alla griglia e ingredienti a chilometro zero che riflettono il fertile paesaggio dell'isola. Cosa aspettarsi
I tavoli si riempiono di ospiti abituali che tornano ogni estate come parte di un rituale consolidato e di abitanti del posto che trascorrono qui le serate. Il profumo del pesce alla brace si mescola all'aria di mare, e la sera il sole scende sul golfo proprio davanti al Suo piatto.
Periodo migliore
Da fine maggio a settembre è il periodo migliore; luglio e agosto sono i mesi di punta sulla spiaggia, quindi è consigliabile sedersi nelle ore più tranquille della mattina o del tardo pomeriggio.
Come arrivare
Skala Eresou dista circa 90 chilometri da Mitilene via strada — si guida verso ovest passando per Kalloni e poi verso sud fino alla costa, per un percorso panoramico ma tortuoso di circa un'ora e mezza.

Ordered a plate of mixed grill for four people; however, although asking beforehand whether there was lamb chops in it and having it confirmed and asking them to exclude pork, the table they served had just 2 big beef meatballs chicken and fries. Even after complaining they did nothing to change it and just said lamb extra. The plate was ok for 3 people in terms of amount. I don' t recommend this mixed grill plate for 28 euros. I would not go there again.

The pita bread was delicious, the portions were just right, and the beer was served wonderfully cold. The service was also good, and there was a beautiful view of the sea.

Antones makes some of the best food in skala eressos. Their chicken souvlaki is awesome and when I say awesome, I mean it almost melts in your mouth its so tender. The souvlaki and kodosoufli are amazing. If you are here, do your self a favor and eat here. This year, it's as good as ever.
