Cancelled my booking because they gave the bike away, no doubt for a more lucrative booking. If you have made a booking don't renege on it. You have shown yourselves to be completely unreliable and with poor customer service. I encourage others to be warey

Great service, very nice people.

Do not rent here if you care about your own safety! I feel sorry to have to say this, but hereby a summary of my experience renting a road bike at Molyvos Bikes & Scooters: Initial contact was good and smooth. I requested a road bike, and got a confirmation they had one available in my size. The offered price was 130 euros for 10 days. So far so good. On my arrival on Lesbos, they brought the bike to my hotel in Molyvos, at which point my first doubts began. The bike was in a really bad state: damaged bartape, full of scratches, dirty frame, very dirty chain (I mean, for real: who delivers a bike looking dirty to a customer?) and sticky hoods from who-knows-what. Take a look at the pictures and judge for yourself. But, as there are no alternatives in Molyvos, I took it for a test ride. And this scared the hell out of me! The front brake was barely working (this should not be the case for a modern 105-level disc brake bike!), the tires where so old and worn down you could see the inner tube (that tire can explode on a fast downhill, resulting in a potentially fatal crash!) and the front shifter was rubbing the chain all the time, creating a very annoying noise. I informed the owner that a bike in this state was unsafe, and even gave him a list of required improvements in order of importance. The next day I got the bike back. The front and back tires seemed different, but looked even more cracked and worn out than the previous set! The front brake still barely worked, and as a bonus the rear brake was now rubbing the disc so badly the back wheel would stop within half a second when given a full power swirl. Even pushing the bike by hand you could really feel the constant braking force... Other than that, nothing was changed (let alone improved!). No cleaning, no changing of the bartapes, nothing. The owner does not care about safety, cleanliness or his customers. I almost felt as if I should have reported this to the police, as giving such a bike to a customer is a fatal accident waiting to happen! Where to rent a bike then? I can for example recommend Lesvos Ride in Perama, where I rented another bike with great pleasure after this disaster! (And they are also cheaper, a win-win...)

True professionalism. I am regularly visiting the island. Rented a ATV for 5 days and it was worth it. Even managed to deliver it to the Airport upon my arrival. When the quad had a problem to Start on the last day the owner came to fix the situation. Thank you Nikos for everything and See you again next year!

Absolutely great service and perfect match with my needs. Nikos communicated well in advance and was ready to find an individual solution. When I arrived by bus at the time of pickup (bus station is right across the street!) everything was set up and I was ready to go in just a few minutes. Bike was great and I enjoyed two days of excellent trips thanks to Nikos‘ tour tips and introduction. I am looking forward to my next opportunity to rent from him and highly recommend his place for rentals across the island!

Too expensive.. its better and cheaper to rent a car

Service at Molyvos bikes was second to none. Nick was excellent. The bike I rented was excellent. It was a Scott Speedster disc. Handled great. Everything worked as it should. I had the bike an extra day than I originally booked for but didn't charge me any extra. Definately check out if your on the island
