Rooms & Apartments Ampoulos

We chose this hotel because it was close to the city center and Plomari. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and towels were changed daily. I can say that the cleaning was done, which isn't done in most 5-star hotels. There's no safe in the room. There's a vertical iron, which is very nice. From the ground-floor rooms, you can see the mirror and the room through the blinds. You can see the inside of the restroom. There's also parking available. You park among pomegranate, lemon, and olive trees. Breakfast includes tomatoes, cucumbers, and cheese. Occasionally, there was an omelet and something like a local pastry, which I don't know the name of, but it was delicious. The marmalade was also good, and we liked it :) Filter coffee and tea bags are available. The hotel is quiet and if we come back, we'll ask for one of the rooms upstairs :)

After my pre-booked accommodation in Mytilene fell through and caused a lot of stress, I discovered Ampoulos and was able to book in the day of with short notice. I had a lovely room on the second floor overlooking the bay. The room had ample space and storage, AC (important especially in late June), a great bathroom, comfortable queen bed, and TV. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfasts brought to you in room and the buffets had many delicious options. Since it’s away from the city, you really need a car to access if on holiday. But the quiet and relaxation is definitely worth it. Would absolutely stay here again 😊

Clean, good size room with a small bathroom. Good breakfast, if you need quietness than it's the place to be. At the same time only 15min away from Mitilini centre.

We loved the grounds of this cute hotel and took lots of pics! The rooms are spacious and very clean. It has all the amenities needed. It’s near a beach but we had a car and went to the main beaches. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. I would recommend this hotel.

positive sides: The landscaping and general structure of the hotel is very nice. The rooms and architecture feel very new. It is located in a peaceful and quiet area. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a nice family business. If you have a car, it makes sense to choose this place. It was nice that breakfast was included in the price and breakfast was really delicious: 2 kinds of cheese, olives, boiled eggs, yogurt, honey and jams and very delicious homemade cakes. Despite some minor problems, we enjoyed our stay here. The taverna right on the beach serves really delicious food. I suggest you visit one evening. negative sides: Although we booked a room with a queen size bed, they gave us a room with 2 single beds and unfortunately the bed comfort was low. The problem with the standard room was that the bathroom was inhumanly small. Using the toilet and taking a shower is a big problem. The bathroom is probably 2 square meters in total. The shower cabin is protected by a curtain, but when you take a shower, the curtain touches your body and the whole floor is soaked after the shower. After a long day on the island, it was sad not to have a pleasant shower. We added one more night to our stay and upgraded to the deluxe room which is definitely very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom size was quite adequate. If you are thinking of staying here, I recommend you to choose a deluxe room with 15 euro difference. There is no place to visit except one tavern within walking distance. If you are coming here without a car, you may want to reconsider.

Excellent place and hospitality..!! Quite, clean, close to the beach .Nikos, the landlord, is very friendy and makes sure you are confortable in the premises..

The garden was amazing. Too bad I can't say the same for the room * The shower was extremely small, a larger person would definitely not be able to use it * The mattress was really old and of poor quality. * The WiFi didn't work Also, after discussing by phone with the owners we agreed to a price which was suddenly increased when we reached the location. Really unprofessional.

Great family owned location. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful scenery. WiFi was weak in our room but overall enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay! The room was new clean and nicely decorated! Its a family business with polite owners who always do their best to help out! Great sea view and relaxing garden. Delicious tavern 3 min walk and an ancient but renovated spa center with healing waters 2km away. We will definately come back!
