Very nice clean rooms, was upgraded to 2 room suites. Beds were comfortable. Manager Fokion was very helpful assisting with resolving an issue with our rental car. Breakfast selections OK. Landscaping could use some attention.

The location is absolutely fantastic—just a 5-minute walk to the beautiful seaside and a variety of charming restaurants. The breakfast spread offered an impressive array of options, catering to all tastes, and my family and I thoroughly enjoyed it each morning. The staff were not only friendly but also incredibly helpful, going out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable. George, in particular, was outstanding, always attentive and ready to assist with a smile. The pool was another highlight—always spotless and well-maintained, with plenty of space for all guests to relax and enjoy.

Very good location if you have a car Rooms are big and very clean. Towels are very old and should be replaced. When we asked for soap for the shower, we were replied that we are entitled to one only every two days!! Breakfast was basic to say the least. The lawns and the pool are very nice, but for some reaso there was no aircondition in the main lobby at any time of the day

Overall not a pleasant stay with the exception of the swimming pool which was the highlight for our kids at least. Breakfast was average and on several occasions several items were missing or not available. Additional charges for beach towels etc no coffee or sugar in rooms with the exception of a coffee machine which had no capsules. Ants in the room which was a real turn off and owners parents telling my kids off in the pool for play fighting was a real turn off.. Owners response was that his hotel is run like an American hotel after I brought up several concerns with him. All hotels we have travelled thus far around Greece did not charge for pool towels and all had coffee amenities in the room. Wouldn’t recommend staying there 👎

Dear guests,
thank you for your stay and your review.
We would like to reiterate that safety at the pool is paramount and no "fight games" are allowed that could jeopardise the safety of our guests.
Furthermore, we would like to note that it is always advisable for our guests to check the facilities and services of our hotel, before they book and not to ask for services that are not offered in their rate or room category.
Thank you again and we hope to welcome you in our hotel and the beautiful island of Lesvos in the future.

Fokion

An example of Greek hospitality at its best. Whether Nikki, George or Chris is on reception, they will welcome you with a smile and endeavour to answer your questions. The pool is lovely, was never too busy during our 2 week stay, no one reserves sun beds here! The hotel and grounds are well maintained. The breakfast buffet is the best I have had with loads of options. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is due to the outdated bath with shower hose attachment and the unattractive covers of sleeping bag material covering the sofa beds. However the beds were very comfortable and the water pressure to the shower was perfectly adequate. The hotel is under 10 minutes walk from the beach and restaurants.

We are half way through our two week stay here. We have stayed at two other hotels in Skala Kalloni and this one is head and shoulders above. If you looking for a extremely friendly, family run, peaceful hotel where you are made so welcome you feel part of the family within days this is the one for you. We absolutely love it here and the staff are amazing. Everyone from George and Christos (who own the hotel) to the lady who cleans the room and last but by no mean least, Niki who looks after the pool bar and just about everything else! She is a star. We wanted two weeks to totally switch off from the day to day grind of work back home and we have certainly achieved that here. The overriding thing here is that nothing is too much trouble and you can tell they are proud of their hotel, and rightly so. We love it so much that this morning we booked to come back next year. We had a great stay at Aeolian Gaea Hotel. Good hotel, with a large pool, friendly staff, peacefully area, 5-10 minutes walk to Skala Kallonis where you can eat, nice big rooms with a little kitchen. The beds are not very good or at least they miss a top mattress, because You are located directly on the mattress springs. Wich mean your body is sore in the morning, but we found some blankets in the closet we put under our sheets - it helped a lot! We wouldn't hesitate to come back - if we ever got the chance...

The friendliest owners and staff I've ever met. They'll go the extra mile to make sure you're enjoying your stay here. Room and facilities met our expectations, really nothing to complain about. 5 min walk to the small and cosy village with restaurants, bars and mini markets. Would definitely stay here again!
