L'hôtel Petrino est situé dans le village de Molyvos, l'une des destinations les plus renommées de Lesbos, où un château médiéval byzantin couronne la colline et où de traditionnelles maisons en pierre s'étagent en cascades jusqu'à un charmant port. Le nom Petrino — qui signifie « pierre » en grec — renvoie directement à l'âme architecturale de ce coin de l'île, où des traditions de construction séculaires en pierre volcanique locale confèrent au village son caractère singulier et intemporel. À quoi s'attendre
Les ruelles pavées de Molyvos vous entourent dès la première sortie matinale — la silhouette du château en hauteur, le port en contrebas et l'air salin de la mer Égée qui filtre entre les maisons. Le village invite à flâner : un café en terrasse sur le front de mer, une montée lente dans les venelles en escalier, une soirée face aux lumières de la côte turque de l'autre côté du détroit.
Quand y aller
La saison principale s'étend de mai à octobre ; septembre et octobre offrent des journées chaudes avec nettement moins de monde qu'aux mois de juillet–août.
Comment s'y rendre
Molyvos se trouve à environ une heure de route au nord de Mytilène en empruntant la route principale du nord de l'île, qui traverse des oliveraies et de petits villages avant que le bourg médiéval n'apparaisse à l'horizon.

I stayed for two nights in September as a single person. The hotel is a bit dated, but very clean. The rooms are large and spacious. I was truly surprised by the cleanliness. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is a bit limited, but otherwise, it's a comfortable hotel.

Stayed the first week of September, super friendly staff, and the building has been partially renovated. We had room 208 with both a sea and a castle view. The bathroom was small but clean. Breakfast was simple but good. The city center is a 10-minute walk away. And in the evenings, it's very quiet for a good night's sleep. We had a great stay. We will definitely be back.

Stayed here for 10 days with my girlfriend. A warm welcome; in our case, our suitcases were brought up to the first floor. Great room, good beds (very important), we found the breakfast more than fine. The service was top-notch, both in the hotel and at the pool. The hotel/apartment is in a beautiful location; you can walk straight into the city center. Highly recommended 👍

We stayed for three nights this August. We checked in early and they kept our luggage after we checked out. Magda, the hotel manager, and all the other staff were very friendly and helpful. I thank them for their hospitality. The pool is spotlessly clean, and there are ample sun loungers around it. There wasn't a huge crowd; three or five people were using the pool besides us. The hotel rooms are quite large. The kitchen has an oven, stovetop, kettle, dishwasher, toaster, and other kitchenware, but we didn't use it because breakfast was included. The hotel's location is also excellent, within walking distance of all of Molyvos. It overlooks the castle. There's free parking opposite. It's also close to the bus stop for those arriving by bus. There's also a supermarket with very reasonable prices right across from the hotel.

Wonderful hotel in the best location of Molyvos!!! Comfortable rooms, spotlessly clean, full breakfast and the pool is wonderful!!! A favorite habit in the evening is a drink at the hotel bar with a view of the illuminated castle!!!! The great asset of the hotel, however, is Magdalena, Kostis, Stratis and Giannis!!! The kindest and most smiling staff we have ever met!!! They really enslaved us!!!!! The next stay in Lesvos will definitely be at Petrino again!!!!

The kids are wonderful. Very helpful, smiling and friendly. The hotel is spotless and neat. The rooms are comfortable, clean and large with a wonderful view. The pool is fantastic with a view of the castle. Even though you are in the city it is quiet. I highly recommend it to everyone, I will definitely choose it again!!!
