Niché dans le cadre atmosphérique de Molyvos, l'un des villages médiévaux les plus célèbres de Lesbos, le Pirates Cafe-Bar insuffle une énergie nautique pleine d'entrain à la vie nocturne locale. Le nom fait référence à l'histoire maritime de la mer Égée, et le bar assume ce caractère avec une ambiance décontractée teintée d'aventure qui attire voyageurs et habitants. Que vous vous détendiez après une journée d'exploration des ruelles pavées sous le château byzantin ou que vous arriviez tout juste du port, c'est le genre d'endroit où une boisson fraîche et une bonne compagnie viennent naturellement.
Le bar propose une solide sélection de cocktails, spiritueux, vins locaux et bières rafraîchissantes, ce qui en fait une halte polyvalente à toute heure de la soirée. À quoi s'attendre
Le bar est niché dans l'une des ruelles pavées de Molyvos, avec le château byzantin qui se profile au-dessus — un cadre qui rend chaque verre frais pleinement mérité. La clientèle mêle naturellement résidents de l'île et voyageurs ayant arpenté le village toute la journée, dans une atmosphère animée mais sans excès. C'est le genre d'endroit où l'on arrive pour un verre et où l'on se retrouve encore là quand les ruelles se sont apaisées.
Quand y aller
De la fin du printemps au début de l'automne est la meilleure période ; juillet et août offrent les nuits les plus animées, mais aussi les plus fréquentées.
Comment s'y rendre
Depuis Mytilène, prenez la route côtière nord en direction de Molyvos — le trajet dure environ une heure. Une fois dans le village, le bar se trouve facilement à pied dans les ruelles pavées.

Very chill bar with great atmosphere. Cute place to have a drink with a view to the extraordinary landscape of the island and with its mountains and sea. Ideal for sunset views! My friends and I were very pleased with the service. The waiters/resses, all young adults in their 20s were very eager to serve us, always with a smile and a friendly attitude that made us feel welcome. Will visit again! P.s. we were surprised to find a constant screening of the Pink Panther series playing inside the bar. Nice little nostalgic detail 🍿

I have been going to pirates bar for years and is always my regular drinks place whenever I am in Molyvos! The view, the atmosphere and the vibe is unmatched! Definitely a must for a sunset cocktail!

We had 4 drinks all of them were perfect. Freddo is well done. Asked for a gin fizz with extra lemon it was just like we wanted. Staff is very helpful there is nothing to say to the view. Prices are similar to different places around the island. Perhaps a little bit lower.

We went there for the sunset and I can truly say that it is the one of the best place for that. The view from the high point to the seaside and harbour is just insane. Additionally the drinks are really tasty and always served with some small snack. All the drinks we’re properly created that I approve as certified bartender 😂. Go there, you won’t regret

We were in Molyvos last week of October for three night and we could find the Pirates open for only for one night and it was very late in the night. The place takes you to the bars you remember from 90’s (which is a good thing). Music could have been better but except that all was great, inside is cozy and people seem to dance from time to time in the middle. Just had some beers from the blondie but definately be back to try the cocktails. If it was open we could have finished everynight in Pirates, well hopefully better luck next time in season.
