Heliotopos Eresos sorge nella parte occidentale soleggiata di Lesbo, vicino al villaggio di Chliara e a breve distanza dalla rinomata zona di Eresos, un angolo dell’isola intriso di antica importanza come presunta patria della poetessa lirica Saffo. Il nome Heliotopos, che in greco significa "luogo del sole", evoca il carattere di questo paesaggio, dove la luce si distende lunga e dorata sugli oliveti e l’Egeo si estende verso l’orizzonte. Questa parte di Lesbo procede a un ritmo più tranquillo rispetto ai resort settentrionali, attirando visitatori che cercano qualcosa di più contemplativo insieme ai piaceri del mare e dell’estate.
Come attività radicata in questo scenario ricco di storia, Heliotopos Eresos offre agli ospiti un autentico incontro con la Lesbo occidentale, sia attraverso l’alloggio, l’ospitalità o quel tipo di esperienza rigenerante che da tempo caratterizza la più ampia area di Eresos. Cosa aspettarsi
La luce dorata che ha ispirato il nome Heliotopos — «luogo del sole» — avvolge fin dall'arrivo gli uliveti e l'orizzonte del Mar Egeo occidentale, creando un'atmosfera contemplativa lontana dai ritmi frenetici delle località più frequentate di Lesbo. La vicina spiaggia di Skala Eresou, con il suo lungo litorale ghiaioso, le acque limpide e una rilassata fila di caffè e taverne, è tra le più apprezzate dell'isola e si raggiunge in pochi minuti. I giorni scorrono con naturalezza tra mare, ombra e pasti lenti.
Periodo migliore
Da fine maggio a inizio ottobre le condizioni di mare e clima sono ottimali; luglio e agosto portano le acque più calde ma anche più movimento lungo il lungomare di Skala Eresou.
Come arrivare
Heliotopos si raggiunge da Mitilene in circa un'ora e mezza di auto, attraversando i villaggi di montagna dell'entroterra prima di scendere verso la costa occidentale; la strada è ben segnalata per Eresos e Skala Eresou.

We've stayed here in early July for a week. There are 3 buildings in a very large & beautiful garden with palm trees. Thanks to Eleni, a very kind host, aparts are furnished delightfully and many details are considered for guest’s comfort. Even the bikes are ready for your service! We stayed in a maisonet apart named Palm House, right in the entrance of the land and it was one of the most peaceful&silent vacation we had.

I love this place, the best hotel in Skala Eressos. It’s amazing location and super comfortable room made me feel like home. It’s my home whenever I visit Skala Eressos and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. I love to sit on the balcony and listen to the tranquil sound of wind in the pine trees. Eleni who is the owner is an Angel and makes sure that every guest feels welcome and happy. If you want to have a dream holiday stay in Helitopos. This place is magic and has energy that nourishes the senses.

The rooms where perfect!! Fantastic design, clean, with very comfortable bed and of course a cold water in the fridge after the beach was everything we needed! Besides the room, the sorounding area was very nice, with a yard full of grass and trees and confy chairs to relax. I would suggest Heliotopos as the best place to stay in the area of Eressos

Great place! The room was very clean and charming. Everything is new and working perfectly. The garden is so peaceful and the lord lady is very kind. I highly recommend this place for a peaceful stay!

The well appointed rooms are newly refurbished and wouldn’t be out of place in a high-end Hotel. The Shower was fantastic! Also the accommodation was spotlessly clean throughout. Heliotopos is set in a beautifully tended garden and is extremely peaceful, yet only a short stroll to the Village centre. Highly recommended Date of stay August 2021
