Trovare un posto dove lasciare la macchina è una delle realtà pratiche dell'esplorare questa meta popolare, e quest'area di parcheggio gratuito offre una soluzione comoda per i viaggiatori che arrivano in auto.
Situato vicino al villaggio, questo parcheggio offre una base accessibile per iniziare a esplorare Molyvos a piedi. I visitatori possono lasciare qui la propria auto e passeggiare per i vicoli labirintici del centro storico, facendosi strada verso l'imponente castello genovese che corona la collina, o scendendo verso le taverne sul lungomare e le barche da pesca che dondolano nel porto. Gratuito e aperto al pubblico, è un servizio pratico che rende una gita di un giorno o un soggiorno più lungo a Molyvos decisamente più rilassante, soprattutto durante la movimentata stagione estiva quando è meglio percorrere le strette vie del villaggio senza auto.

Cosa aspettarsi
Il parcheggio si trova ai margini del centro storico, esattamente dove le stradine diventano troppo strette per le automobili, e rappresenta il punto di partenza naturale per esplorare Molivos a piedi. Da qui si può salire tra i vicoli lastricati verso i bastioni del castello genovese oppure scendere fino al porto con le barche dei pescatori e le taverne che si affacciano sul lungomare.
Periodo migliore
Maggio, giugno e settembre sono i mesi più tranquilli per trovare posto; a luglio e agosto il parcheggio si riempie presto, quindi è consigliabile arrivare prima delle 10.
Come arrivare
Molivos si trova a circa un'ora di guida a nord di Mitilene lungo la strada principale. Avvicinandosi al paese, seguire le indicazioni per Molivos; il parcheggio è segnalato all'ingresso del borgo, prima che le strade si restringano.

It's a nice touch for car owners. However, finding a spot at any time is very difficult; it's entirely a matter of luck. Especially if you're arriving in the evening and don't have any luggage, it's much more sensible to leave your car in the free parking area on the right side of the road at the entrance to Molivos, about a 6-7 minute walk from here.
