A very good taverna in the center of Mytilene, Lesvos. The food is delicious and the portions are very generous, the prices are absolutely reasonable. Pelago creates a unique friendly atmosphere and we will for sure miss this wonderful place.

Pélago si trova nell'angolo tranquillo del nord di Lesbo, vicino al villaggio di Alyfada. Il suo stesso nome evoca il mare Egeo aperto che si estende oltre le sue soglie. La parola greca pélago indica il mare aperto e profondo, e questo ristorante ne indossa l'identità con disinvoltura, attirando i visitatori in un ambiente in cui i ritmi dell'isola rallentano e l'acqua sembra vicina. La zona intorno ad Alyfada è tra le più rilassate di Lesbo, lontana dai percorsi turistici più affollati, e cenare qui regala un senso di autentica scoperta locale. Da aprile a ottobre è il periodo migliore; le serate estive, quando il caldo si attenua sul lungomare, sono ideali per una lunga cena di pesce.

Il ristorante si trova nel cuore di Mitilene, la città principale e porto traghetti dell'isola — raggiungibile a piedi dal centro e dal molo di attracco.

The best food we tried throughout our holidays in Lesvos island. Delicious dishes ,excellent service although It was high season around the 15th of August.They did everything to be efficient and keep the waiting time low.We strongly recommend MOUSAKA,GEMISTA,DOLMADAKIA YALANGI. But everything we ordered was delicious.Our compliments to the cook lady.

One of my favorite spots on the island! The grilled calamari and shrimp were outstanding — fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. Service can be a little slow when it’s crowded, but the staff are always warm, friendly, and helpful, which makes up for it. If you’re lucky, you might catch some live music in the evening, which creates a truly wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be back! Şampiyon Fenerbahçe 💛💙

Chose this place as it had good atmosphere feel. Moussaka best I have eaten in many years and we travel to Greece for 6 to 8 weeks for past 42 years, so I know a good Moussaka! Fast friendly service, great house wine, reasonable prices and nice sized portions. Highly recommend and can't wait to visit again!

I went there 2 times because it was so good! Great service, the boss Niko made service to us He is a professional ! The quality of their dish was incredible! Try their beef seasoned with lemon and grape molasses. It was soft and delicious!Fried zuccini stuffed with cheese! Offf off aman aman. I had mussels cooked with ouzo and mustard! So yummy! Octopus cooked in the oven ! Try beer Fischer. 1821. Guys everything i had was top notch in taste. Say hello to Niko. He was charming and mastermind behind this high quality.

Good food and super friendly service. We had smoked mackerel, fresh parcel garlic dip, Ladotyri saganaki and Spetsofai. All very nice.
