We stayed in the spacious and beautifully decorated Flat 1 Apartment. It has well thought details, it was very clean and has a lot of facilities. The staff was wonderfully helpful. Agali was a very good choice for us in a central and quiet location.

Agali Studios biedt zelfstandige studio's in de rustige omgeving van Alyfada, een stil dorpje in het noorden van Lesbos. Dit type studioverblijf is favoriet bij onafhankelijke reizigers die de vrijheid van hun eigen ruimte verkiezen boven het gestructureerde ritme van een hotel — een plek om naar terug te keren na een dag verkennen van de olijfgaarden, vulkanische landschappen en verborgen baaien van het eiland. Het noordelijke deel van Lesbos heeft een uitgesproken ongedwongen karakter, ver weg van de drukkere badplaatsen in het zuiden, wat het een aantrekkelijke uitvalsbasis maakt voor wie het eiland in een trager tempo wil ervaren.
Gasten van Agali Studios zijn uitstekend gepositioneerd om de wijdere regio te verkennen, inclusief de weg die door de terrasvormige heuveldorpjes slingert naar de noordoostkust en de Golf van Kalloni in het zuiden — een van de belangrijkste wetlands in de Egeïsche Zee en een gerenommeerde bestemming voor vogelaars. Het zelfstandige karakter van studioaccommodatie leent zich goed voor langere verblijven, zodat bezoekers de kans krijgen om op lokale markten te winkelen, te koken met verse producten van Lesbos en zich in het ritme van het dorpsleven te voegen in plaats van slechts als dagjesmensen voorbij te trekken.

Agali Studios biedt u een echte thuisbasis op Lesbos — doe boodschappen op de lokale markt, kook met verse eilandproducten en keer elke avond terug naar een rustige, eigen ruimte. De zelfverzorgende formule trekt reizigers aan die het eilandleven van binnenuit willen beleven in plaats van er snel doorheen te gaan.
Beste tijd om te gaan
Van eind mei tot begin september is de beste periode; mei, juni en september geven aangenaam weer met minder drukte dan de piekmaanden juli en augustus.
Hoe er te komen
De studio's liggen in Mytilini zelf, de hoofdstad en de aankomsthaven van Lesbos, zodat u vanuit de veerboot of het vliegveld vrijwel meteen ter plaatse bent.

Pros:Terrific location, everything new inside, well equipped. Cons: No daily service ( towels, sheets) but I am thinking it's more like an Airbnb. Then there was the bed....comfy, decent mattress and pillows, BUT...the bed was positioned on one side against the wall, meaning whoever was on that side needed to go through a whole maneuver to get in and out, climbing over your bed partner to get to the bathroom. A bit of a drag. Also, I personally don't care for ground floor rooms, not a lot of light.
