Wat u kunt verwachten
Verblijven hier voelt meer als welkom geheten worden in een familiewoning dan als inchecken in een hotel. De studio's met balkon vangen de bries van het noorden van Lesbos op, en de persoonlijke aandacht van de eigenaressen maakt het verschil wanneer u lokale tips nodig heeft. Het kasteel en de haven van Molyvos liggen op loopafstand.
Beste tijd om te gaan
Eind mei tot september is het meest geschikt voor de noordkust; in juli en augustus is Molyvos erg druk, reserveer dus tijdig.
Hoe er te komen
Vanuit Mytilini rijdt u via de hoofdweg richting Kalloni en vervolgens noordwaarts naar Molyvos — de rit duurt ongeveer 60 tot 75 minuten.

I highly recommend staying here when you come to Lesvos. Wonderful host, amazing view, spotlessly clean house. The location is also excellent.

You can park next to the castle and walk 50 meters to reach it. The hotel is on a hill, so walking from the center is a bit challenging, but not as difficult as you might think; you can get there in 5 minutes. It's one of the cleanest apartments I've ever stayed in; the owner is a really meticulous person. I recommend the sea view apartment; you can have breakfast on the balcony. Since the apartment has a refrigerator, we enjoyed the view with breakfast items we bought from the market. There's also a bakery nearby where you can buy pastries and bread in the morning.

Very clean and well equipped place, astonishing view (especially during sunset) and very kind & nice staff. The place is very close to Molyvos castle where you can park your car on the road and walk to the hotel in 2-3 minutes. Hotel is 9-10 minutes away from harbour by foot. We didn’t get a chance but it would be very nice to enjoy your drink/coffee on the balcony of hotel room.

We stayed at Mrs. Penelope's in August 20. From the first moment she won us over with her hospitality. The building is very well cared for and spotlessly clean, the room is spacious and very well equipped and the view from the balcony is perfect (sunset on the sea etc). The location is very good, next to the castle which has easy parking and convenient for the evening when we went out. We recommend it without a second thought
