If you like cold water, sea is perfect. 🏊♂️ DJ starts like after 5 pm, I think and it is so good. There is one problem which is there is not any cabinets to take dress out ☺️ highly recommended.

Congas Beach Bar is een strandbar aan de kust nabij het schitterende dorp Molyvos in het noorden van Lesbos, gelegen langs een van de mooiste kuststroken van het eiland. Met het middeleeuwse kasteel van Molyvos dat imposant boven op de heuvel uittorent en de Egeïsche Zee die zich tot aan de horizon uitstrekt, is de omgeving op zich al een overtuigende reden om hier halt te houden voor bezoekers die dit deel van het eiland verkennen.
Als strandbar biedt Congas de ontspannen, zonnedrenkte ervaring die het beste van het Griekse eilandleven belichaamt — koude drankjes, cocktails en een plekje om bij te komen na een duik in zee of een middag dwalen door de geplaveide straatjes van Molyvos. Of u nu neerstrijkt in het gouden middaglicht of blijft tot de avond wanneer de lucht boven het water koper- en rozentinten aanneemt, een strandbar op deze locatie biedt de ultieme Lesbos-sfeer: ongehaast, warm en diep verbonden met de zee.

Wat u kunt verwachten
Met een koud drankje in de hand bij Congas kijkt u tegelijk omhoog naar de stenen torens van het kasteel van Molyvos en uit over de Egeïsche Zee — een plek die u niet snel verlaat. De sfeer volgt het ontspannen tempo van een middag in het noorden van Lesbos: gedroogde zwemmers in de zon, zachte muziek en gesprekken die langer duren dan gepland.
Beste tijd om te gaan
Juni tot en met september is de ideale periode voor zwemmen en een drankje in de avond; juli en augustus zijn het drukst en de nachten het warmst.
Hoe er te komen
Vanuit Mytilini rijdt u de hoofdweg naar het noorden richting Molyvos — de rit duurt ongeveer een tot anderhalf uur. Congas ligt langs de kust bij het dorp en is gemakkelijk te vinden zodra u de omgeving van Molyvos bereikt.

I had the salmon bruschetta and a Gatepuse cocktail, both were super tasty! Being here at sunset is such a nice experience. The sea is clean and beautiful, and it’s not too deep. At the beginning it’s rocky, but then it turns into sand. If you find it hard to walk on the rocks, bringing water shoes really helps. There isn’t a proper changing area; you can change in the restroom, but the conditions aren’t the best.

The beach bar is an amazing place to visit. They have an amazing atmosphere and it feels like you are in Hawaii. The food is ok, it is good enough to eat and taste good. The service is nice but take a long time to get your order. So to be honest I will recommend this place to go and swim and have a drink only.

A beautiful bar right on the beach in Molyvos. The vibe in here is lovely, great music playing and the service is attentive. However, the cocktails are outstanding... Honestly some of the best I've had. We did have a light lunch here one day too (bruschetta) and it was freshly prepared and tasty. A great place to stop for drinks and a light bite 😊

Thank you to very kind waiters and their manager. Delicious pizza 💪. Cool and very good decorated place. (Keep in mind that there is no lock in the restroom, but we didn't have any problems)

Very nice place to visit for a good cocktail. Nice relaxing music and atmosphere. We have been here a couple of times for some cocktails (not dinner). What is missing on the menu is "mezedes" or small snacks. Finger food on the side of a cocktail.

The atmosphere of the beach bar made us feel like we were on a tropical island. Prices were reasonable for such a nice place. The beach has a blue flag, you can swim with a school of fish. Everything was clean and the waiters were very friendly. You can spend the whole day on the beach.

The Beach Bar, honestly the only place like this in the area. One could say use it or loose it, but it is not the case. Worth seeing, worth trying. Well prepared for the season. Nice menu, but if you will not find what you want, the bar is creative. Sea view. Tropical climate also caused by the overall design, but the key is the music (with live DJ). Short words, everyone out there knows what and how to do.
