Kosmos Rent a Car is een autoverhuurbedrijf dat bezoekers van het noordelijke deel van Lesbos bedient, gunstig gelegen vlakbij het schilderachtige dorp Molyvos. Het personeel kent de lokale wegen uit eigen ervaring en kan u wijzen op plekken die geen enkele kaartapp zou tonen. De service is persoonlijk en direct — heel anders dan bij de grote anonieme ketens.
Beste tijd om te gaan
Het bedrijf is open tijdens het hoofdseizoen, van het voorjaar tot de herfst; in juli en augustus is het verstandig om vooraf te reserveren.
Hoe er te komen
Kosmos ligt in Molyvos, ruwweg een uur rijden ten noorden van Mytilini. Wie per veerboot aankomt en van plan is het noorden van het eiland te verkennen, bespaart kostbare reistijd door de auto hier op te halen in plaats van in de havenstad.

Outstanding Service from KOSMOS Scooter & Motorbike Rental on Lesbos! We had an incredible experience with KOSMOS during our stay on the island. For those interested in motorcycle rental: I rented a brand new CFMoto 450 here. Whether you stick to the asfalt or like more adventurous riding, this bike will take you all around the island and I had lots of fun with it. Note: you can google this bike and read the many positive reviews on why it is such a fun and reliable bike, if you are unsure. They have a Benelli TRK 502X as well, if I remember correctly. The staff at Kosmos in Molyvos were friendly and helpful, so I'll recommend them for renting your motorcycle here

Bad experience considering they refused to rent a bike with an Austrian Good license even though on the official embassy website of Greece tp Australia says that Australian licence holders do not need another licence to drive in Greece. Furthermore both in this stay and over the years no other establishment has made a fuss about it. Just being difficult with wrong knowledge and making holidays unpleasant for no reason …

We hired a car for two days in late July to explore the island. We had a Fiat 500 cabriolet with only around 3000km on the clock for €60 a day which we thought was pretty good value. We didn't have any issues when hiring or returning the car, the guys in the shop were all friendly and helpful and even suggested a route for two days to see all the sights. Would recommend this company for local car hire and would use them again if we're back in Lesbos.

In our first day, we rented a 50cc Vespa but it was so small for us and then we changed with Liberty that was 150cc. It was comfortable for us and it worked for our all discovers in Molyvos, Scaminia, Petra etc. The people from Kosmos were very kind, they do their job very well. You can rent motorbike, atv or car from them, they’re perfect.☺️☺️
