Natura is een gastvrij café in het dorp Marmaro, een klein vissersplaatsje aan de oostkust van Lesbos. Gelegen in het rustige ritme van het dorpsleven biedt deze plek een ontspannen sfeer waar bezoekers even kunnen uitrusten van hun rondtochten en kunnen genieten van een vers gezette koffie, een lichte versnapering of een eenvoudig hapje in de geest van de Griekse cafétraditie.
Het café ontleent zijn naam en karakter aan de natuurlijke omgeving die dit deel van Lesbos zo eigen is — een kustlijn van zilvergrijze olijfgaarden, helder Egeïsch water en dorpspleinen waar de tijd zijn eigen gang gaat. Of u nu neerstrijkt voor een Griekse koffie midden in de ochtend of rustig nageniet van een frappé in de namiddag, Natura biedt de oprechte, ongedwongen gastvrijheid die tussenstops in kleine dorpjes zo onvergetelijk maakt voor reizigers op het eiland.
Voor bezoekers die de oostelijke dorpen van Lesbos verkennen, is Marmaro een belonenende omweg buiten de hoofdroutes, en Natura biedt een natuurlijk rustpunt om de lokale sfeer in u op te nemen. Op het terras van Natura vangt u een zeebriesje van de oostkust, terwijl plaatselijke vissers en reizigers aan dezelfde tafels plaatsnemen. Een Griekse koffie of een ijskoude frappe past perfect bij het ontspannen ritme van dit kleine visserdorpje.
Beste tijd om te gaan
Mei tot oktober is de beste periode; zomerse ochtenden vóór de middaghitte zijn bijzonder aangenaam.
Hoe er te komen
Vanuit Mytilini rijdt u via de kustweg naar het noorden richting Marmaro, een rit van ongeveer twintig tot vijfentwintig minuten. Het dorp is klein en het café is gemakkelijk te vinden vlakbij het centrum.

A wonderful, calm, beautiful, family-friendly and at the same time unfair area of Perama, Lesvos. An area for peace and tranquility. The shop is beautiful and modern. The people are very kind, smiling. Everything you need for coffee, snacks and ice cream. In the future, when I go to Lesvos again, I will definitely prefer the Perama area for accommodation and Natura for my coffee and snack on the beach.

Well, incredible environment, spotlessly clean space and a very nice menu. Little by little, more are being added since last year when I visited. The pizza is top-notch and handmade by the owner. The staff is very helpful and the prices are very good. In the morning, the organized and spotlessly clean beach of NATURA with coffee and food is a must. Everything you need for families with children.
