Such a lovely little boutique with unique handmade leather products. The master Efes himself is there to help and give advice. My daughter and I couldn’t resist—we each got two pairs of soft and beautiful sandals. Definitely worth a visit!

Efes Leathers, Midilli'nin kuzey kıyısında bir Bizans kalesinin eteklerine kurulu, adanın en tarihi ve büyüleyici ortaçağ köylerinden biri olan Molova'da yer alan bir deri eşyaları mağazasıdır. Mağaza; çantalar ve kemerlerden cüzdanlara ve aksesuarlara uzanan özenle seçilmiş bir deri ürünler koleksiyonu sunmaktadır. El işçiliğine ve zanaat ürünlerine değer veren ziyaretçiler için gerçek bir durak niteliği taşır. Mağazanın adı olan Efes — antik Ephesus şehrinin Türkçe karşılığı — yüzyıllardır bu Ege coğrafyasını şekillendiren derin kültürel kesişim noktalarına zarif bir gönderme yapmaktadır.
Molova'da bir deri mağazasında dolaşmak, köy deneyiminin doğal bir parçasıdır. Kaldırım taşlarıyla döşeli dar sokaklar; geleneksel taş evler, atölyeler ve küçük butiklerle çevrilidir. Yavaş yavaş keşfetmeyi seven gezginleri ödüllendiren bu sakin atmosfer içinde Efes Leathers'a uğramak, köyün huzurlu ritmiyle tam bir uyum içindedir. Günlük kullanıma uygun dayanıklı bir çanta mı arıyorsunuz, yoksa gerçek bir ustalığın izini taşıyan özgün bir hatıra mı? İlkbaharda başlayarak erken sonbahara kadar, köyün en canlı olduğu dönem; Molivos yaz dışında oldukça sakinleşir.
Nasıl gidilir
Molivos, Midilli şehrinden Kalloni üzerinden yaklaşık bir saatlik sürüş mesafesindedir. Dükkan, kalenin eteklerindeki butik sokaklarla dolu köy merkezinde bulunmaktadır.

Found this lovely little store whilst visiting Molivos, and amongst all the fabulous leather goods there, bags purses wallets, belts and of all types of sandals using some beautiful colours including lovely blues and greens. We bought a beautiful leather belt and a pair of sandals. The owner of the shop makes these all himself and he explained how the leather would soften up after a couple of wears, he clearly is passionate about what he makes. Well worth a visit, fantastic selection and at good prices too.

A charming place with beautiful genuine leather products. The owner talks passionately about his work. We bought four pairs of shoes at a good price and quality. During the purchase, you can adjust the length of the sandals to your liking. I recommend it to everyone.
