A wonderful experience staying at Mais studios in Vatera, Lesvos! An accommodation made with taste and lots of love, spotlessly clean, with direct access to the huge beach of Vatera and a view of the sea and the moon at night! But it is worth making a special mention of Kalliopi Maistrelli who is in a category of her own! Unbeatable! The most kind, helpful, discreet, sweet hostess! She takes care of everyone and everything!! The soul of Mais studios! I will definitely come again and again!

An ideal, quiet and peaceful apartment for a relaxing seaside holiday. Easy access to the sea right outside, making it comfortable for families with children. The rooms are clean and new. The bathroom is a bit small, especially the sink and shower. Having two balconies is a plus; the front balcony offers sea views, while the back balcony is practical for hanging towels and swimsuits. The stars looked beautiful from the back balcony. There are tavernas and cafes within walking distance. A bus also passes by, so you can take a bus from Mytilene for a long, peaceful seaside holiday. The road to Vatera is a bit winding, tiring with a manual car, but not as difficult as typical Greek island roads. The signs are small and very difficult to read; we drove past twice and couldn't find it.

Let's start with the location which is the best since the road separates the accommodation from the sea. New facilities. The rooms are fully equipped, comfortable, neat, new and spotlessly clean. When we arrived, Kalliopi welcomed us with a smile and was eager to serve us. Very nice people. I can't wait to go to Vatera again and stay at Mais Studios

This is the second year that we have stayed at the wonderful mais studios of Kalliopi and Nikos Maistrellis and we were doubly pleased! An ideal place for a holiday in Lesvos, an accommodation that offers everything! Charming and spotlessly clean studios, fully equipped, on the sea, quiet, with very easy access! But the most important thing, who is also the soul of Mais studios, is Kalliopi! An excellent hostess in every way, willing, kind, always there to facilitate everyone in every way! Kalliopi, thank you for making our summer much more enjoyable this year with your care and the fresh fruit from your trees! Close to beach, has parking lot for small cars. Room was clean.

We stayed at mais studios and Vatera for 15 beautiful days, which became even more beautiful in this space, which proved to be superior to our expectations! I'll start with the owners, Nikos and Kalliopi, and especially Kalliopi, who takes care of everything. I will say that she has sweetness, passion, aesthetics, dynamism, discretion and is very organized and kind! She respects her space and the customer! The studios are new, spotlessly clean, fully equipped and are bright and with extra windows! The sheets smelled of musk! Very calm and quiet, as if there was a secret agreement that we were all careful not to disturb each other and to keep the space so beautiful and clean! The sea is just a stone's throw away with free umbrellas and sunbeds laid out! The parking is very convenient in the garden! All we can think about is being well and coming back next summer for a month!

Very nice place, clean and modern, and is directly across the street from the beach. The room had a well appointed kitchenette which was very handy, and the AC worked wonders. My only complaint would be the small bathroom sink because the shelf immediately above it made it hard to wash my face, but that's just splitting hairs and I would absolutely stay here again.

The facility is new, modern and well equipped. If you like Vatera, it is a good choice, maybe the best choice. We did not like Vatera and could not experience the hospitality of Greek people in Mais because there was no host available, only by phone.

Everything was as expected. The apartments are new and well equipped.
