Midilli'nin yemyeşil kuzey kesimlerinde, sakin Alifada köyünün yakınlarına sığınmış olan Zacharoplasteio Padazi, Yunan köy yaşamına çıpa atan türden bir mahalle pastanesidir. Zacharoplasteio, sıradan bir fırından çok daha fazlasıdır — bir toplumsal kurumdur bu; yerel halkın yoğun Yunan kahvesi ve günün dedikoduları eşliğinde saatlerce takıldığı, mevsimlerin ritminin vitrin tatlılarında kendini gösterdiği bir mekândır. Nesiller boyu Yunan pastacılığını şekillendirmiş el yapımı lezzetler sizi bekler: sıcak muhallebi dolu çıtır bougatsa, bal ve susamla gezdirilmiş lokma ve sabah ışığında parıldayan şerbetli baklava ile kadayıf tepsileri.

I ordered my daughter's birthday cake and it truly exceeded all expectations! Excellent quality, delicious, fresh and impeccable in both taste and appearance. Pantazis guarantee! The most delicious sweets! This year I ordered my birthday cake from there and once again both I and my guests were shocked by how delicious the cake was. Vanilla-strawberry filling, chocolate sponge cake, heart shape and pink whipped cream colors! Magic!

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience I will not upload a photo of the cake as it was a special order and I prefer to remain anonymous. I had ordered a small cake with a biscuit flavor. The filling did not resemble a biscuit at all! It was simple cream and not even tasty. Also the cake was not small! Without asking, they made it regular to large and I paid almost €35 for it. Their excuse was that the design I requested could not be made in a small round one which I would have accepted IF I HAD BEEN ASKED. The cake was not for me so I was exposed to the celebrant and the guests since it was my initiative to go to this particular store. In terms of appearance, it was remarkable. I am writing this comment purely out of disappointment.

Perfect place for traditional sweets of the island. Rodinia and almond cakes stand out. Kind people. Prices have remained stable for years. Worth the visit.
