Στον πάγκο της Fourtouna θα βρείτε ό,τι έφεραν τα καΐκια εκείνο το πρωί — φρέσκια τσιπούρα, μπαρμπούνια, σαρδέλες και μερικές φορές χταπόδια κρεμασμένα να στεγνώσουν. Πρόκειται για αληθινή αγορά ψαριών χωρίς τουριστικές προσαρμογές: ο ρυθμός είναι γρήγορος και το προσωπικό γνωρίζει κάθε είδος σε βάθος. Φέρτε ψυγειόσακο αν σκοπεύετε να μαγειρέψετε αργότερα.

Λειτουργεί όλο το χρόνο στη Μυτιλήνη, με τη μεγαλύτερη ποικιλία ψαριών την άνοιξη και στις αρχές του φθινοπώρου, όταν οι συνθήκες αλιείας στο Αιγαίο είναι οι καλύτερες.

Η Fourtouna βρίσκεται στο κέντρο της Μυτιλήνης, σε μικρή απόσταση με τα πόδια από το λιμάνι — αν φτάσατε με πλοίο ή μένετε στην πόλη, μπορείτε να την επισκεφτείτε εύκολα πεζή.

This is a fish shop and has a kitchen in a close distance which produces take away grilled and fried fish. The fish and seafood is fresh but the restaurant doesn't have a place to sit and smells strongly of fried fish. Thus, it's a good place to order and take away fish.

I was a customer, I bought fish every week or once or twice, the last time I got a crucian carp while it was weighed. It was 1050 gr when I got it cooked it wasn't even 600 grams. Certainly when cooked it loses its weight but not 40 to 50%, the conclusions are yours.

Good quality but they don't know how to weigh, unless half a kilo of squid has 200 grams of entrails. He would probably eat a lot!
