Τα Γλυκά της Ελένης είναι ένα αγαπημένο τοπικό ζαχαροπλαστείο κρυμμένο κοντά στο ήσυχο χωριό της Αλυφάδας, μέσα στο γαλήνιο ενδοχώρα της Λέσβου. Το ίδιο το όνομα λέει τα πάντα για το πνεύμα του χώρου: πρόκειται για προσωπική, οικογενειακή μαγειρική, αυτή που χτίζεται πάνω σε παραδοσιακές συνταγές που έχουν περάσει από γενιά σε γενιά, χωρίς βιομηχανική παραγωγή. Η Λέσβος έχει βαθιά παράδοση σε κουταλιά γλυκά, αρτοσκευάσματα και μαρμελάδες, αξιοποιώντας τα δώρα του νησιού — ελιές, σύκα, εσπεριδοειδή και αμύγδαλα — και ένα μαγαζί σαν αυτό είναι εκεί που η παράδοση αυτή παραμένει πιο ζωντανή.

Μπαίνοντας, το βλέμμα σας πέφτει αμέσως στα γυαλιστερά βάζα — κυδώνι, σύκο, νεράντζι — και στη συνέχεια η ευωδία κανέλας και γαρίφαλου από τα δίσκους με τα μπισκότα σας τυλίγει. Είναι ο τύπος του μικρού ζαχαροπλαστείου όπου μια γρήγορη στάση για ένα γλυκό κουταλιού μετατρέπεται σε γευσιγνωσία και συζήτηση.

Ανοιχτό όλο το χρόνο· το φθινόπωρο είναι η ιδανική εποχή, όταν τα γλυκά από σύκο και εσπεριδοειδή φτιάχνονται από φρέσκια σοδειά.
Πώς θα φτάσετε
Τα Γλυκά της Ελένης βρίσκονται λίγο πάνω από ένα χιλιόμετρο από το κέντρο της Μυτιλήνης — μια σύντομη βόλτα ή οδήγηση από το λιμάνι.

Excellent professionals, I ordered a cake for 20 people for my daughter's party on the same day, I sent them a photo as an original. The order was made in the morning and in the afternoon I received a fresh cake, much more beautiful than the one I ordered at a very good price and delicious!!! Thank you very much 😊

Simply very good quality!!! Some people think that because it is a "canteen" style that it should be cheaper!!! It has almost the same prices as the rest of the Zach/Steia and a half with a level higher quality!!!

Half a kilo of Dubai chocolates 25 euros??? With such simple and cheap ingredients and a relatively short preparation time? I'm sorry but this is exploitation and mainly unprofessional. We said don't be offended but not 2.5 euros per chocolate. For God's sake, guys. Let's think about who we're addressing and have a sense of the situation around us. 25 euros is a day's wage. Unacceptable price!!
