A lovely beach bar with a small selection of food. We got some really good sandwiches and tried their coffee, smoothies and cocktails, which were all very good. The people are very sweet, the music not too loud and the beach is amazing !

Simple, accueillante et ancrée dans la communauté locale, elle sert de point de rassemblement pour les villageois et de halte bienvenue pour les voyageurs traversant les collines couvertes d'oliviers de ce coin moins visité de l'île. Que vous arriviez en moto en empruntant les routes secondaires sinueuses ou à pied après avoir exploré la campagne environnante, la kantina vous offre l'occasion de faire une pause, de respirer l'air rural et de renouer avec le rythme plus lent qui rend Lesbos si singulière. Attendez-vous à l'essentiel honnête d'un café de village grec : un café corsé, des boissons fraîches et peut-être des collations légères pour vous soutenir. Le charme ici ne réside pas dans des menus élaborés mais dans l'atmosphère — un coin ombragé où s'asseoir, la possibilité d'échanger quelques mots avec un habitant, et le plaisir particulier de se rafraîchir dans un endroit qui semble véritablement à l'écart des circuits touristiques. Visiter Kantina Tarti, c'est moins ce que vous consommez que l'expérience de tomber sur une véritable tranche de vie quotidienne d'un village de Lesbos, loin de l'agitation de Mytilène ou des plages bondées de l'été. À quoi s'attendre
À l'ombre d'un petit café de village niché dans les oliveraies du nord-est de Lesbos, le Kantina Tarti vous offre une pause sans prétention et bien réelle. Un café grec serré, une boisson fraîche et quelques mots échangés avec les habitants suffisent à rendre l'arrêt mémorable.
Quand y aller
Le printemps et le début de l'automne sont idéaux, avec des températures douces et des routes tranquilles ; juillet et août peuvent être très chauds.
Comment s'y rendre
Depuis Mytilène, comptez environ 25 à 30 minutes de route vers le nord-est en direction du village de Tarti. La kantina se trouve dans le village même, facilement repérable en passant.

Five stars without a doubt. Not too much sunbeds means not too much crowd and noise. So you can relax perfectly and even sleep deeply by the sound of the waves. Food is good enough to calming your hunger and the prices are fair. We've spent the noon 'til evening and it was one of the best. Last but not least, the crew was very friendly. It' s definitely a place I'd like to come back to.

My second time here on Lesvos, and yet, still, this is my favorite spot on the island. A small cafe tucked away at the far end of Tarti beach. Run by the kindest people. You’ll find tasty and affordable snacks and drinks accompanied with a laidback atmosphere. All surrounded by the clearest waters of the Aegean Sea. A dream.. and a place to come back to time and time again.

Excellent service from the friendly team. Lovely freshly made baguettes, toasties and freshly squeezed orange juice, ideal for breakfast. Opened around 10am. Free sun beds with good shades right at the water’s edge. They have a good list of cocktails at 7€. Enjoyed a potent Negroni or two. Good WiFi even down on the beach. Very laid back, good music at night and a relaxed vibe - just loved it. Well done guys!

what a gem this place is. with all the greek tavernas around, cantina tarti stands out big time. with a simple menu of hamburgers, sandwiches and hot-dogs, great cocktails, cool play lists and a great atmosphere, this is heaven on earth. thanks for the smiles, the food, the drinks and the atmosphere.
