A lovely beach bar with a small selection of food. We got some really good sandwiches and tried their coffee, smoothies and cocktails, which were all very good. The people are very sweet, the music not too loud and the beach is amazing !

Incastonata nel tranquillo villaggio di Tarti, nel nord-est di Lesbo, Kantina Tarti è il tipico chiosco stradale senza pretese che scandisce il ritmo rilassato della vita isolana. Semplice, accogliente e radicata nella comunità locale, funge da punto di ritrovo per gli abitanti e da gradita sosta per i viaggiatori che attraversano le colline ricoperte di ulivi di questo angolo meno visitato dell'isola. Che vi fermiate in moto percorrendo le strade secondarie tortuose o arriviate a piedi dopo aver esplorato la campagna circostante, la kantina offre l'opportunità di fare una pausa, respirare l'aria rurale e riconnettersi con il ritmo più lento che rende Lesbo così speciale. Aspettatevi l'essenziale onesto di un caffè di villaggio greco: caffè forte, bibite fresche e magari spuntini leggeri per tenervi in movimento. Il fascino qui non risiede in menu elaborati ma nell'atmosfera — un posto all'ombra dove sedersi, la possibilità di scambiare due parole con un abitante del luogo, e il piacere particolare di rinfrescarsi in un luogo che sembra veramente fuori dai percorsi turistici. Visitare Kantina Tarti è meno una questione di ciò che consumate e più l'esperienza di imbattervi in un vero spaccato di vita quotidiana di un villaggio lesbico, lontano dal trambusto di Mitilene o dalle spiagge affollate dell'estate. Per coloro che esplorano Lesbo con curiosità e un itinerario aperto, è esattamente il tipo di sosta che vale la pena fare.

Il Kantina Tarti è un bar di paese senza fronzoli immerso tra gli ulivi del nord-est di Lesbo, dove ci si ferma per un caffè greco forte e si finisce per scambiare qualche parola con i residenti. Il fascino del posto sta proprio in questo: l'autenticità di un villaggio che vive lontano dai flussi turistici.
Periodo migliore
La primavera e il primo autunno sono i periodi migliori, con temperature piacevoli e strade tranquille.
Come arrivare
Da Mitilene si percorrono circa 25-30 minuti di strada verso nord-est fino al villaggio di Tarti; la kantina si trova nel centro del paese, facilmente riconoscibile lungo la via principale.

Five stars without a doubt. Not too much sunbeds means not too much crowd and noise. So you can relax perfectly and even sleep deeply by the sound of the waves. Food is good enough to calming your hunger and the prices are fair. We've spent the noon 'til evening and it was one of the best. Last but not least, the crew was very friendly. It' s definitely a place I'd like to come back to.

My second time here on Lesvos, and yet, still, this is my favorite spot on the island. A small cafe tucked away at the far end of Tarti beach. Run by the kindest people. You’ll find tasty and affordable snacks and drinks accompanied with a laidback atmosphere. All surrounded by the clearest waters of the Aegean Sea. A dream.. and a place to come back to time and time again.

Excellent service from the friendly team. Lovely freshly made baguettes, toasties and freshly squeezed orange juice, ideal for breakfast. Opened around 10am. Free sun beds with good shades right at the water’s edge. They have a good list of cocktails at 7€. Enjoyed a potent Negroni or two. Good WiFi even down on the beach. Very laid back, good music at night and a relaxed vibe - just loved it. Well done guys!

what a gem this place is. with all the greek tavernas around, cantina tarti stands out big time. with a simple menu of hamburgers, sandwiches and hot-dogs, great cocktails, cool play lists and a great atmosphere, this is heaven on earth. thanks for the smiles, the food, the drinks and the atmosphere.
