Niché près du paisible village d'Alyfada, au cœur de Lesbos, le Moth Bar offre une halte bienvenue aux voyageurs explorant l'intérieur moins fréquenté de l'île. Le nom lui-même possède un certain charme poétique, évoquant ce genre d'endroit qui attire les gens après la tombée de la nuit, où la conversation coule aussi naturellement que les spiritueux locaux. Situé à l'écart des bandes côtières plus animées, ce bar s'adresse à ceux qui préfèrent l'ambiance au spectacle, un lieu de rencontre pour les habitants comme pour les visiteurs curieux.
Le cadre près d'Alyfada place le Moth Bar à proximité des paisibles oliveraies et des villages traditionnels en pierre de l'île, ce qui en fait une étape naturelle après une journée d'exploration. Que vous vous arrêtiez pour une bière Mythos bien fraîche, un verre d'ouzo accompagné de quelques mezzés, ou une boisson préparée à partir de la sélection de spiritueux du bar, le rythme tranquille reflète celui de la campagne de Lesbos elle-même. C'est le genre d'endroit où une heure peut facilement s'étirer en soirée.

Le Moth Bar est situé en plein cœur de Mytilène, avec une ambiance tamisée et intime qui le distingue des endroits plus animés du bord de mer. On y croise aussi bien des habitants que des voyageurs curieux — autour d'un ouzo, d'une bière locale ou d'un verre des spiritueux, la conversation s'engage facilement et le temps passe sans qu'on le voie.
Quand y aller
Ouvert toute l'année dans la ville principale de Lesbos ; les soirées d'été sont les plus animées, tandis que le printemps et l'automne offrent une atmosphère plus locale et apaisée.
Comment s'y rendre
Le bar se trouve à Mytilène même, à quelques minutes à pied du port et de la place centrale — aucun véhicule n'est nécessaire.

Atmospheric cosy bar, nicely decorated for a chilled out relaxed cocktail bar vibe. Relaxed, efficient bar tender whipping up signature cocktails with ease. Blues music created a relaxing environment to compliment and enjoy the cocktails unlike some other bars in area which play loud, obnoxious music. Even a cute cat chilling in basket near toilets attest the chilled out vibe of this place. Look forward to returning!

An oasis for beer lovers like us from the Czech Republic. The ancient gods considered beer to be the drink of barbarians. If they had tasted, for example, the production from the island of Chios, they would certainly not have been so strict. Our beloved Greeks are once again showing their creativity and their microbreweries can successfully compete with the beer superpowers. All the more thanks to Moth Bar for offering and making these beers available. And thanks to Vicki for her friendly service and absolute insight into who needs their next order - Czechs drink beer faster :). Much success to Moth Bar and Greek microbreweries - they deserve it. Looking forward to another tasting next year.

there is a common longing that exists in the heart of those who would visit a sanctuary dedicated to the wonder of beer. the longing? quality. variety. creativity. this wonderful treasure found in the heart of the stunning city is Mytilini is a temple. The owners? a priest and priestess. inviting us into the holy wonder of shared beverages. I have looked long for a place to call my ‘pub’. I have found it here. I hope you find it too

Refreshing cocktails, kindest people and amazing musics!! If you need anywhere where you can sit and relax but also have fun and cozy atmosphere this place is perfect for you. And the prices are normal.
