Nascosto vicino al tranquillo villaggio di Alyfada, nel cuore di Lesbo, il Moth Bar offre un piacevole rifugio per i viaggiatori che esplorano l'entroterra meno battuto dell'isola. Il nome stesso possiede un certo fascino poetico, evocando il tipo di luogo che attira le persone dopo il tramonto, dove la buona conversazione scorre naturalmente come i liquori locali. Situato lontano dalle più affollate fasce costiere, questo bar si rivolge a chi preferisce l'atmosfera allo spettacolo, un punto di ritrovo sia per la gente del posto che per i visitatori curiosi.
La posizione vicino ad Alyfada colloca il Moth Bar a portata di alcuni dei sereni uliveti e dei tradizionali villaggi in pietra dell'isola, rendendolo un punto d'arrivo naturale per una giornata di esplorazione. Che vi fermiate per una birra Mythos ghiacciata, un bicchiere di ouzo con qualche meze, o qualcosa preparato con la selezione di liquori del bar, il ritmo rilassato riflette quello della campagna di Lesbo stessa. È il tipo di posto dove un'ora può facilmente prolungarsi in una serata.

Il Moth Bar si trova nel cuore di Mitilene, con un'atmosfera raccolta e soffusa che lo distingue dai locali più chiassosi sul lungomare. Vi si incontrano residenti e viaggiatori che hanno lasciato la strada principale — un bicchiere di ouzo, una birra locale o qualcosa dalla selezione di distillati, e la serata scorre da sola.
Periodo migliore
Aperto tutto l'anno nella città principale di Lesbo; le serate estive sono le più vivaci, mentre in primavera e in autunno si respira un'atmosfera più tranquilla e autentica.
Come arrivare
Il bar si trova a Mitilene stessa, a pochi minuti a piedi dal porto e dalla piazza centrale — non è necessaria un'auto.

Atmospheric cosy bar, nicely decorated for a chilled out relaxed cocktail bar vibe. Relaxed, efficient bar tender whipping up signature cocktails with ease. Blues music created a relaxing environment to compliment and enjoy the cocktails unlike some other bars in area which play loud, obnoxious music. Even a cute cat chilling in basket near toilets attest the chilled out vibe of this place. Look forward to returning!

An oasis for beer lovers like us from the Czech Republic. The ancient gods considered beer to be the drink of barbarians. If they had tasted, for example, the production from the island of Chios, they would certainly not have been so strict. Our beloved Greeks are once again showing their creativity and their microbreweries can successfully compete with the beer superpowers. All the more thanks to Moth Bar for offering and making these beers available. And thanks to Vicki for her friendly service and absolute insight into who needs their next order - Czechs drink beer faster :). Much success to Moth Bar and Greek microbreweries - they deserve it. Looking forward to another tasting next year.

there is a common longing that exists in the heart of those who would visit a sanctuary dedicated to the wonder of beer. the longing? quality. variety. creativity. this wonderful treasure found in the heart of the stunning city is Mytilini is a temple. The owners? a priest and priestess. inviting us into the holy wonder of shared beverages. I have looked long for a place to call my ‘pub’. I have found it here. I hope you find it too

Refreshing cocktails, kindest people and amazing musics!! If you need anywhere where you can sit and relax but also have fun and cozy atmosphere this place is perfect for you. And the prices are normal.
