Great place for family, or friend groups. Brand new. 5 minutes walk to the sea. And 6 minutes to Mytilini by car. You have everything you need in the room. Landlady Gelina is very kind and helpful.
The rooms are very comfortable and impressively decorated .The external spaces are both beautifully designed and functional. The pool is fantastic ... perfect for relaxing. I highly recommend it!!!

Elies Residences prende il nome dalla parola greca per 'olive', un omaggio agli antichi uliveti che hanno plasmato il paesaggio di Lesbo per millenni. Incastonato vicino al tranquillo villaggio di Pligoni, nell'entroterra verdeggiante dell'isola, questa struttura si trova in una regione dove la coltivazione dell'olivo è stata uno stile di vita fin dall'antichità, e il luccichio verde-argento degli alberi definisce la campagna ondulata in ogni direzione. L'ambiente offre agli ospiti un'introduzione coinvolgente alla Lesbo rurale, lontano dal trambusto delle località costiere ma a breve distanza dai tanti tesori naturali e culturali dell'isola.
Come struttura di tipo residenziale, Elies offre un soggiorno tranquillo e intimo, ideale per i viaggiatori che desiderano immergersi veramente nel ritmo della vita dell'isola piuttosto che semplicemente attraversarla. Cosa aspettarsi
Soggiornare a Elies Residences ricorda più una casa di campagna in prestito da un amico che un albergo, con ulivi dai riflessi argentati visibili in ogni direzione. Le mattine portano canti di uccelli e profumo di erbe selvatiche che entrano dalle finestre; le serate si spengono in una quiete che le località costiere raramente sanno offrire. La maggior parte degli ospiti utilizza la struttura come base silenziosa per escursioni a Mitilene o alla Foresta Pietrificata.
Periodo migliore
Da fine maggio a ottobre è il periodo più adatto — maggio-giugno e settembre offrono temperature più gradevoli e molta meno affluenza rispetto al picco di luglio e agosto.
Come arrivare
Pligoni si trova a breve distanza da Mitilene — circa dieci-quindici minuti di guida verso nord, addentrandosi nell'entroterra coperto di uliveti.

Wow, this place really exceeded all expectations. After taking a ferry ride from Ayvalik, we were just looking for a getaway close to nature. The beauty of the hotel, the beautiful design of the rooms and the hotel, the pool area, the private balcony for each room, the cleanliness, made us feel the warmth and genuine beauty of the island. It was so great to stay that we had a hard time leaving our hotel to explore the island. Most importantly, Ioannis at guest relations, was amazing. He was genuine, caring and never skipped any of our Whatsapp messages, despite the time or the amount of them we sent for such a short stay! After realizing we had forgot to send our breakfast selection, we sent a message of a picture of the breakfast sheet filled out late at night and woke up to the breakfast the next morning. That is hospitality. Ioannis's care trulyt mirrors the beauty and care for this hotel. Thank you to all and the Elies team. Will see you all soon!

We stayed 3 nights for our honeymoon and it was on the top of the list of best stays experiences ever. Staff was very hospitable and helpful. They also made us surprised by serving wine for the last night. Very modern, clean and high quality residences. Charming pool and great atmosphere. Definitely a must stay if you are looking for a good time.

Attention to detail in this accommodation is stunning. We have travelled to many Greek islands and stayed at many different accommodations. We are used to most Greek accommodations -within a reasonable price range for family holidays- not having high level finishing standards (think: sanitary facilities, bedding, kitchen, overall clean, pool, garden, air conditioning, Wifi, lighting etc.). Elies was a big pleasant surprise to us. They show that it is possible to enjoy a high standard finished accommodation within a reasonable price range (hope they will try to keep it within this price range). Another example of their attention to detail, was the included breakfast. This was a big surprise to us as we did not expect this. The chef and manager Johannes did their best everyday to provide us with a wonderful breakfast experience at the pool terrace. Also, a special mention for all personnel. Owner Jannis managed to assemble a great team of wonderful people (Christina, Sophia, Johannes, the chef and the two cleaning ladies) that go far to make sure your stay is pleasant. Thank you again! Beautiful place in nature in an olive grove just a few meters from the sea! Wonderful service with amenities and attentive luxury! I highly recommend it to every visitor who has requirements of his stay!

I recently stayed 5 nights at Elies Residences. Evelina & Gianis always met me with a warm smile and a happy greeting. The Villa I had was very clean, with a kitchenette that I didn’t really use except for sandwich making. The shower had plenty of hot water, even for long showers. The bed was comfortable and I slept well.
