Great place for family, or friend groups. Brand new. 5 minutes walk to the sea. And 6 minutes to Mytilini by car. You have everything you need in the room. Landlady Gelina is very kind and helpful.
The rooms are very comfortable and impressively decorated .The external spaces are both beautifully designed and functional. The pool is fantastic ... perfect for relaxing. I highly recommend it!!!

Το Elies Residences παίρνει το όνομά του από την ελληνική λέξη για τις ελιές, ένα εύστοχο φόρο τιμής στους αιωνόβιους ελαιώνες που έχουν διαμορφώσει το τοπίο της Λέσβου εδώ και χιλιετίες. Χωμένο κοντά στο ήσυχο χωριό Πλιγώνι, στο καταπράσινο εσωτερικό του νησιού, το κατάλυμα βρίσκεται σε μια περιοχή όπου η ελαιοκαλλιέργεια αποτελεί τρόπο ζωής από την αρχαιότητα, και η ασημόχρωμη λάμψη των δέντρων ορίζει το κυματιστό τοπίο προς κάθε κατεύθυνση. Η διαμονή στα Elies Residences θυμίζει περισσότερο αγροτική κατοικία παρά ξενοδοχείο, με τους ασημόφυλλους ελαιώνες να εκτείνονται προς κάθε κατεύθυνση. Τα πρωινά συνοδεύονται από κελαηδίσματα πουλιών και άρωμα αγριόχορτων, ενώ τα βράδια αποκτούν μια ησυχία που σπάνια τη βρίσκει κανείς στην παραλία. Οι περισσότεροι επισκέπτες χρησιμοποιούν την ιδιοκτησία ως βάση για εξορμήσεις στη Μυτιλήνη ή το Απολιθωμένο Δάσος, επιστρέφοντας στη γαλήνη της Πλειγώνης το βράδυ.
Καλύτερη εποχή
Από τα τέλη Μαΐου έως τον Οκτώβριο ταιριάζει ιδανικά — Μάιος-Ιούνιος και Σεπτέμβριος προσφέρουν πιο δροσερό αέρα και λιγότερους επισκέπτες σε σχέση με το Ιούλιο-Αύγουστο.

Η Πλειγώνη βρίσκεται σε σύντομη απόσταση από τη Μυτιλήνη — περίπου δέκα έως δεκαπέντε λεπτά οδήγησης βορειοανατολικά, μέσα στο ελαιοκαλλιεργούμενο εσωτερικό του νησιού.

Wow, this place really exceeded all expectations. After taking a ferry ride from Ayvalik, we were just looking for a getaway close to nature. The beauty of the hotel, the beautiful design of the rooms and the hotel, the pool area, the private balcony for each room, the cleanliness, made us feel the warmth and genuine beauty of the island. It was so great to stay that we had a hard time leaving our hotel to explore the island. Most importantly, Ioannis at guest relations, was amazing. He was genuine, caring and never skipped any of our Whatsapp messages, despite the time or the amount of them we sent for such a short stay! After realizing we had forgot to send our breakfast selection, we sent a message of a picture of the breakfast sheet filled out late at night and woke up to the breakfast the next morning. That is hospitality. Ioannis's care trulyt mirrors the beauty and care for this hotel. Thank you to all and the Elies team. Will see you all soon!

We stayed 3 nights for our honeymoon and it was on the top of the list of best stays experiences ever. Staff was very hospitable and helpful. They also made us surprised by serving wine for the last night. Very modern, clean and high quality residences. Charming pool and great atmosphere. Definitely a must stay if you are looking for a good time.

Attention to detail in this accommodation is stunning. We have travelled to many Greek islands and stayed at many different accommodations. We are used to most Greek accommodations -within a reasonable price range for family holidays- not having high level finishing standards (think: sanitary facilities, bedding, kitchen, overall clean, pool, garden, air conditioning, Wifi, lighting etc.). Elies was a big pleasant surprise to us. They show that it is possible to enjoy a high standard finished accommodation within a reasonable price range (hope they will try to keep it within this price range). Another example of their attention to detail, was the included breakfast. This was a big surprise to us as we did not expect this. The chef and manager Johannes did their best everyday to provide us with a wonderful breakfast experience at the pool terrace. Also, a special mention for all personnel. Owner Jannis managed to assemble a great team of wonderful people (Christina, Sophia, Johannes, the chef and the two cleaning ladies) that go far to make sure your stay is pleasant. Thank you again! I recently stayed 5 nights at Elies Residences. Evelina & Gianis always met me with a warm smile and a happy greeting. The Villa I had was very clean, with a kitchenette that I didn’t really use except for sandwich making. The shower had plenty of hot water, even for long showers. The bed was comfortable and I slept well.
