Guantana è un'attività locale immersa nella tranquilla campagna vicino ad Agios Georgios, un piccolo villaggio adagiato tra le dolci colline dell'entroterra di Lesbo. Questa parte dell'isola conserva un carattere decisamente rilassato, lontano dai percorsi turistici più battuti di Mitilene o Molyvos, e le attività commerciali qui tendono a servire sia la comunità locale sia il viaggiatore curioso che occasionalmente si avventura fuori dalle strade principali per scoprire la vita quotidiana dell'isola.
Con un nome dal sapore internazionale, Guantana si distingue come una piacevole sosta in una zona dove i luoghi per fermarsi e ristorarsi sono rari. Che siate di passaggio durante un viaggio attraverso l'interno dell'isola o che stiate esplorando i villaggi di questa regione più tranquilla, una visita qui offre l'opportunità di sperimentare l'autentico calore dell'ospitalità di Lesbo. Il paesaggio circostante, fatto di uliveti e campi ondulati, fa da pacifico sfondo, e il ritmo lento del quartiere fa sì che ogni sosta qui sembri una piccola fuga.

Cosa aspettarsi
Il paesaggio intorno ad Agios Georgios ha la quiete particolare dell'entroterra di Lesbo — ulivi, canto degli uccelli e quasi nessun traffico. Guantana è il tipo di sosta locale dove ci si ferma più a lungo del previsto, attratti dall'atmosfera tranquilla e dalla presenza di persone che vivono davvero in questo angolo dell'isola. È una pausa naturale durante un giro attraverso l'interno dell'isola.
Periodo migliore
Dalla fine della primavera all'inizio dell'autunno è il periodo più piacevole per visitare questa zona; il pieno dell'estate è caldo, ma i villaggi dell'interno restano sensibilmente più freschi rispetto alla costa.
Come arrivare
Da Mitilene, si percorre la strada verso nord nell'entroterra in direzione di Agios Georgios — il tragitto dura circa 15-20 minuti su strette vie di campagna, quindi è bene procedere con calma e godersi gli oliveti lungo il percorso.

UPDATE: THE REVIEW INVOLVED HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PRODUCT HE ORDERED. IT WAS A DIFFERENT KIND OF UNBRANDED MERCHANDISE; HE BOUGHT EVERYTHING BRANDED. I'VE ATTACHED A PHOTO OF THE SCAMMER'S CONVERSATION, WHERE YOU CAN SEE HE LIKED THE ORDER. IN THE SCREENSHOT, YOU CAN SEE HE LIKED 3 OUT OF THE 6 CATEGORIES. THEN, ACCORDING TO HIM, THE OTHERS WERE IN BAD CONDITION. HE SENT PHOTOS, AND THAT WASN'T THE CASE. OBVIOUSLY, IT NEEDS TO BE CHECKED OUT. WE TOLD HIM TO RETURN THE MERCHANDISE HE DIDN'T WANT, AND WE WOULD REFUND HIM. HE CALLED THE BANK AND REQUESTED A FULL REFUND FOR THE ORDER. This has been reported to the police, and I hope no one buys from this store. In life, you have to be honest, and the owner of this store is a swindler. If he does this to his suppliers, he'll do it to his customers. Warning: Swindler! He bought from us and was happy with most of the order. The part he wasn't happy with, he not only didn't return, but he also called the bank to reverse the entire payment. This afternoon we're going to report him to the police and file a claim with the bank. We have evidence, and we'll probably get our money back, but now I have to go through a months-long process to recover it. If he scams his suppliers, won't he scam his customers? Or his employees? Be on your guard with this swindler.

If anyone clicks on your business name on google, they can verify that you bought bad quality products from another wholesale company three months ago. <br><br>Unfortunately you can not hide online. You decided to sell these to customers like me. Selling fake and bad quality goods to customers is a scam. Just because another business scammed you does not mean that you also have to get rid of these products by shipping them to stores like mine. <br><br>I have already reported you to my bank and since you do not want to cooperate, I will surely demand for a refund. <br><br>We would never scam anyone as this violates our ethics and way of living. A fast search online can prove our intentions. <br><br>This review did and will not harm us. It is sad that I decided to help a small business like yours and in return I got scammed. <br><br>There has been a law suit filed against you already and all our communication proof can be found online on my review of your business for anyone to be able to check it. <br><br>I wish you all the best.
