Periodo migliore
In estate i servizi sono più frequenti, ma a luglio e agosto le corse verso destinazioni richieste come Molyvos si riempiono in fretta — è consigliabile arrivare con anticipo.
Come arrivare
La stazione si trova a pochi minuti a piedi dal porto e dal lungomare di Mitilene, circa dieci-quindici minuti dalla banchina dei traghetti.

I’m not usually someone who leaves reviews for a bus company’s branch, but I can’t stand it anymore, and since we were verbally assaulted, I want to write this to ensure this service is reviewed. I will also be filing a complaint. We had the worst experience with the service. The rudest, angriest driver ever. From the moment he stopped at the bus stop to pick up passengers, he started screaming at literally EVERYONE, one by one, without stopping. When it was our turn, I mentioned that I wanted to pay by card, and the driver had a meltdown, yelling “cash only” and practically threw us off the bus. I’ve never encountered anything like this before—if the card isn’t accepted, just say so; it’s that simple. How could something like this cause a person to have a meltdown and lose control? His shouting and insults, his endless rage, and verbal attacks on every single passenger did not stop. Why should we have to endure such abuse just because we want to travel? Why do we have to be verbally assaulted by an angry man who clearly hates his job? KTEL should really train their drivers. What kind of disrespectful service is this?

I am happy there are some busses on the island, but the service needs to be improved. Sometimes there is just one per day in high season and they don't always have airconditioning. Also I was concerned with the safety, because our driver was playing candy crush while driving....

You should be very careful. For some destinations you have to change buses, but they don't tell you when you buy the tickets.

Never on time. Always leaves behind people in the bus stops when there is room. Skips scheduled routes VERY frequently. The drivers are rude and don't take their job seriously.
