Arroccato tra le colline ondulate sopra la cittadina medievale fortificata di Molivos, il Molivos Hills Apartments offre alloggi con angolo cottura in uno degli angoli più panoramici del nord di Lesbo. La struttura si trova a poca distanza da Vafeios, un tranquillo villaggio tradizionale immerso tra uliveti e pendii ricoperti di pini, ponendo gli ospiti all'incrocio tra l'autentica vita isolana e lo spettacolare paesaggio costiero che ha reso questa parte di Lesbo una meta prediletta dai viaggiatori esigenti. Da questo punto panoramico elevato, la vista si estende sui tetti in terracotta, sul luccicante Egeo e, nelle giornate limpide, verso il profilo lontano della costa turca.
Soggiornare in un appartamento piuttosto che in un hotel offre una libertà particolare che ben si adatta ai ritmi di Lesbo. Gli ospiti possono fare scorta di olio d'oliva locale, prodotti freschi e del caratteristico ouzo dell'isola nei mercati vicini, per poi godersi il ritmo tranquillo della vita di paese tra un'escursione e l'altra. Le iconiche strade acciottolate e le case in pietra di epoca ottomana di Molivos sono a breve distanza in auto, così come le calette di ciottoli e le sorgenti termali che punteggiano questo angolo dell'isola. Per i viaggiatori che desiderano una base che si senta davvero immersa nel paesaggio, piuttosto che semplicemente adiacente ad esso, il Molivos Hills Apartments offre esattamente quel tipo di soggiorno autentico e memorabile.

Cosa aspettarsi
La luce del mattino sulla terrazza rivela il Mar Egeo e i versanti ricoperti di pini — una vista che invita a prolungare la colazione senza fretta. In appartamento si sceglie il proprio ritmo: un giro al mercato del villaggio, una gita verso una caletta, una passeggiata nei vicoli di Molivos, poi una serata silenziosa sulle colline. Vafeios è un paese genuinamente tranquillo, lontano dai percorsi turistici più battuti.
Periodo migliore
Da fine maggio a settembre per il caldo e il nuoto; giugno e inizio ottobre offrono le temperature più piacevoli con molta meno folla.
Come arrivare
Da Mitilene, si prende la strada principale verso nord in direzione di Molivos — il percorso dura circa un'ora e mezza. Vafeios si trova poco nell'entroterra, nelle immediate vicinanze di Molivos.

Our family (two kids, ages 8 & 5) spent the past 18 days at this wonderful place. Giorgos has created a beautiful place with lush greenery, a lovely pool, and apartments that offer everything you need. Every few days, the apartment is thoroughly cleaned, and towels and bed linens are changed. It's also great that all rooms have air conditioning. Our kids had a wonderful time in the pool and the garden. The resident cats quickly became friends. A car is essential, as it's a perfect base for fun day trips. All the basic necessities, such as a bakery, butcher, and supermarkets, are just a few minutes away. The evenings are wonderful to spend in Molyvos, also just a few minutes' drive away. We highly recommend Molyvos Hills!

Excellent accommodation ... which is fully equipped .... kettle - toaster - toaster - full household appliances ... regular-sized refrigerator, washing machine and dishwasher .... it really had much more than I would use on my vacation even though I was traveling with twins. The wifi fully covered professional needs. The owner is kind and fully cooperative!! The ground floor apartments have their own gazebo with lots of coolness. Swimming pool with mini playground next to it The room price could easily be 20-30% higher Very close to Molyvos without the hustle and bustle of the center. I have traveled a lot and this is one of the best value for money rentals I have stayed in. I would comfortably stay again and I highly recommend it ...

Lovely house in a small apartment complex near Molyvos. The house was spacious and meticulously clean, the kitchen fully equipped, it even had a dishwasher (didn't use it) and a washing machine which is super helpful if you travel light as we do! Air-conditioning was a central unit which cooled the place down without drying the air- best sleep I've had in days in the heatwave of July. Peaceful garden with a nice table in the shade for breakfast and chatter in rhw night. Also swimming pool with sunbeds and a small playground which the kids loved! George, the owner, was super helpful with everything we asked. All together, a lovely place, definitely will be visiting again!
