Riviera è un bar situato nel villaggio costiero di Agios Isidorus, sulla costa meridionale di Lesbo, che offre ai visitatori un luogo rilassato per distendersi con un drink sullo sfondo del Mar Egeo. Con la sua posizione in riva al mare, il bar attira sia residenti che viaggiatori in cerca di una birra fresca, un cocktail o un rinfrescante ouzo mentre il sole scende verso l’orizzonte.
L’atmosfera in un bar come il Riviera in un tranquillo villaggio greco tende ad essere senza fretta e accogliente, il genere di posto dove la conversazione scorre fluida come i drink. Agios Isidorus stesso è una pacifica comunità di pescatori, e fermarsi al Riviera regala ai visitatori un assaggio genuino della vita quotidiana dell’isola, lontano dai centri turistici più affollati.

Cosa aspettarsi
Da Riviera ci si siede con la schiena al paese e gli occhi sull'Egeo, aspettando che il tramonto colori l'acqua. Il bar è frequentato soprattutto dai residenti, il che mantiene l'atmosfera genuina e lontana dai circuiti più battuti. Un bicchiere di birra o di ouzo qui vale quanto un'intera serata altrove.
Periodo migliore
Dalla fine della primavera all'inizio dell'autunno; le sere d'estate offrono tramonti particolarmente suggestivi sul mare.
Come arrivare
Da Mitilene si prende la strada costiera verso sud in direzione di Plomari; Agios Isidoros dista circa trenta minuti di guida. Il bar si trova direttamente sul lungomare del paese e si individua facilmente.

Unacceptable, in the middle of July, on a weekend, to have come two days in a row and have to wait 1 whole hour for them to take your order. All this because the manager of the restaurant cannot understand how a whole beach cannot be served by one waitress, who seems completely inexperienced. Get another waiter and you won't get in with 70 sunbeds and 3.5€ for a coffee.... A little professionalism! The beach as one of the best on the island...
