Situato vicino all’insediamento costiero di Alyfada, il caffè si distingue per la sua dedizione al caffè specialty — selezionando chicchi di qualità e applicando metodi di preparazione accurati che vanno ben oltre il classico freddo espresso greco. Che preferisca un pour-over, un espresso ben tirato o un cold brew in un caldo pomeriggio egeo, il menu riflette una genuina passione per l’arte.
L’atmosfera è all’altezza del nome: pulita, luminosa e rilassata, con un’estetica essenziale che lascia che il buon caffè sia il protagonista. È il tipo di locale che si sente a proprio agio sia per un viaggiatore solitario che aggiorna i propri appunti, una coppia che si riposa tra una spiaggia e l’altra, o gli avventori abituali che ne hanno fatto un rituale mattutino. Il personale tende a essere ben informato su ciò che serve, rendendolo il posto ideale per chiedere un consiglio se è curioso di conoscere le differenze tra le proposte.
Per i visitatori di Lesbo che amano il caffè specialty, trovare un locale come White Lab fuori dal circuito turistico principale è una piccola ma soddisfacente scoperta. Serve a ricordare che l’isola ha silenziosamente sviluppato un lato cosmopolita accanto ai suoi antichi uliveti e ai tradizionali kafeneion. Si fermi qui per ricaricarsi prima di proseguire lungo la costa o verso l’interno dell’isola — difficilmente rimpiangerà la deviazione.

Il ritmo è tranquillo e l'ambiente accogliente, adatto sia a una sosta solitaria che a una pausa di coppia durante una giornata di esplorazione.

Aperto tutto l'anno; in estate il cold brew nelle ore più calde è la scelta più richiesta.

Il locale si trova a Mitilene stessa, a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro città e dal porto.

Extraordinary place to have your morning and your afternoon coffee. Also. We were amazed by the very good quality of the food too. Everything about the food is homemade. The owner and the staff also were very kind. None the less the prices are low for Mytilini and we were there every morning!

Really great quality coffee shop. Two espresso choices: Guatemala & Brazil blend and Ethiopian Yirgacheffee single origin. Both at medium roast. Great quality, delicious. I had a flat white. Wonderfully done! This is the best coffee I've had in the week on this island.

The way they make their coffee is very good and you can tell that they take pride in their work, but I think their coffee beans are too dark roasted for my taste, the coffee was bitter. I think they should just switch to light roasted coffee beans

There are many places with excellent coffee in the town but this one is my favourite. The have a delicious banana bread (not too sweet contrary to there you'll find) and a carrot cake that is a perfect option if you ate too much of the banana. Service is good and prices correct. Tables outside available. I attach the menu in English.

This is a small, but cozy coffee shop with a terasse serving excellent coffee frappes. The server is nice and welcoming.
