Cosmos Sport is een lokale winkel voor sportartikelen en outdooruitrusting die de gemeenschappen rond Alyfada en de bredere centrale regio van Lesbos bedient. Voor bezoekers én inwoners die naar het eiland komen voor actieve bezigheden, kan een betrouwbare plek voor uitrusting, benodigdheden of lokaal advies over de omstandigheden een groot verschil maken voor uw reis. Of u zich nu voorbereidt op een wandeling door het vulkanische binnenland van het eiland, op zoek bent naar uitrusting voor strand- en watersport, of gewoon iets wilt vervangen voordat u op pad gaat, winkels zoals Cosmos Sport vullen een essentiële leemte in een landschap waar de dichtstbijzijnde grotere plaats misschien wel een flinke rit verwijderd is.

Wat u kunt verwachten
Een sportwinkel waar de echte meerwaarde vaak in het gesprek zit — medewerkers die het terrein van Lesbos uit eigen ervaring kennen en u kunnen wijzen op wandelpaden, fietsparcours of activiteiten die niet in elke reisgids staan. U kunt er uitrusting vinden voor trekking, watersport of fietsen, en praktisch advies inwinnen voordat u vertrekt. Een kort gesprek hier kan een middag redden.
Beste tijd om te gaan
Het actieve buitenseizoen loopt van het voorjaar tot het vroege najaar, maar de winkel bedient locals het hele jaar door.

Cosmos Sport ligt centraal in Mytilini, op loopafstand van de haven en het centrale plein.

If you bought shoes abroad from a real Nike store and then bought the same model from Cosmo, you will see a completely different quality. It is not even close to the genuine one!!!!!

Two days ago, we bought a jacket. We requested a tax-free refund. When I checked the Global Blue app at the hotel in the evening, I couldn't find the information. Yesterday, we went and showed them the documents. They mentioned some kind of technical issue and told us to come back tomorrow. We came back again today. This time, they asked for the product we bought. We explained the process. We said that the employee from yesterday hadn't made such a request. They insisted on the product. We went to the hotel, got it, and came back. They prepared the documents again. At the last minute, we realized they hadn't added the post. They added it after we pointed it out. They have so many employees and customers who receive tax refunds, but they don't understand the process! We were EXHAUSTED in a process that should have been so simple!!

Why is it that there is always one teller. 20 minutes to pay for a T-shirt. Other than that great service from local staff. I also suggest rearranging the position of the tellers…

You can find a model that you want to buy, but unfortunately there is one person on the till and you have to wait at least more than one hour for tax free. And they don’t care you are waiting or have to go. We have waited for the line 1.5 hours
