Blue Waves is een verblijfsaccommodatie gelegen nabij het rustige dorpje Agia Varvara, in het noorden van Lesbos, en biedt reizigers een vredige uitvalsbasis om een van de meest karaktervolle eilanden van de Egeïsche Zee te verkennen. De naam weerspiegelt het omringende zeelandschap, en gasten kunnen rekenen op een ontspannen, ongehaaste sfeer die dit minder bezochte deel van Lesbos kenmerkt, ver van de drukkere badplaatsen aan de zuidkust.
Een verblijf in Blue Waves stelt bezoekers in staat de dramatische noordelijke landschappen van het eiland te verkennen, met zijn olijfgaarden en traditionele stenen dorpjes die het binnenland sieren. De omgeving van Agia Varvara is ideaal voor wie op zoek is naar een authentieke Lesbos-ervaring — lokale tavernes, ongerepte kustlijn en de oprechte gastvrijheid waarvoor het eiland al lang bekend staat. Of u nu het eiland per auto verkent, vogels observeert in de nabijgelegen wetlands of simpelweg op zoek bent naar een rustig toevluchtsoord aan zee, Blue Waves biedt u een comfortabele en gunstig gelegen plek om aan het einde van de dag tot rust te komen.

Wat u kunt verwachten
U vindt hier een rustige, ontspannen sfeer tussen olijfgaarden en de traditionele noordelijke dorpen van Lesbos, ver van de drukkere toeristische gebieden. De meeste gasten gebruiken dit als uitvalsbasis voor dagtochten langs de kust, vogelobservatie in de nabijgelegen wetlands en authentieke dorpen in het binnenland. De avonden zijn hier opvallend stil.
Beste tijd om te gaan
Laat voorjaar en vroeg najaar zijn het aangenaamst; juli en augustus zijn warm maar geschikt voor kustverkenning.
Hoe er te komen
Vanuit Mytilini rijdt u noordwaarts langs de oostkust — reken op ongeveer 30 tot 40 minuten, afhankelijk van de route.

We come here every summer and meet with my extended family. Best experience ever ! The room service is great, the facilities are beautiful and clean. The bar and restaurant staff are friendly, patient and kind. Excellent choice for anyone looking to be a stone-throw away from a clean beach, piece of paradise! Huge shout out to Yoannis, Rania, Zoe, Sophia and the room service team , thank you from all our families!

Super easy to check in. Everything was new and clean. The garden and territory was perfectly maintained. We had a little problem with the toilet flush but the fixed it right away. If you have a car, it’s easy to access all around. Definitely recommend.

Amazing hotel with beautiful ocean views. 50 meter from hotel to the ocean. The rooms is exactly as advertised. They care alot about keeping everything clean and spotless. The people working here is Even better. Amazing owner and all the Staff is super Nice. They do everything to give You a good experience Even if something unexpected was gonna happen. I would recommend 10/10
