We visited the Sigri area for 2 days. The hotel is very good and Mr. Pavlos was very helpful and kind. It is the second time we go to this particular hotel.
The best hosts, and a beautiful and clean hotel in nature. Definitely recommended. Plenty of parking and sounds of nature. You wake up to the singing of the birds.

Het Orama Hotel ligt vlakbij het rustige dorp Sigri aan de woeste westkust van Lesbos, een van de meest lonende en minst bezochte uithoeken van het eiland. Sigri is een klein vissersdorpje beschut door een natuurlijke baai, bekend om zijn Genuees kasteel, het nabijgelegen Versteende Woud van Lesbos — een UNESCO Global Geopark — en het ongehaaste tempo dat massatoerisme grotendeels op afstand heeft gehouden. De naam 'Orama', Grieks voor uitzicht of visie, geeft een voorsmaakje van het fraaie panorama dat gasten in dit deel van het eiland te wachten staat, waar de Egeïsche Zee zich ononderbroken uitstrekt tot aan de horizon.
Het hotel biedt comfortabel verblijf voor reizigers die het westen van Lesbos als uitvalsbasis willen gebruiken. De ochtenden beginnen met het geluid van vissersboten die de kleine haven verlaten, en de dagen vullen zich met wandelingen over fossil-rijke kustpaden en bezoeken aan het nabijgelegen Versteend Woud. Het hotel is een uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor wie het westelijke Lesbos op eigen tempo wil verkennen, ver van de drukte. 's Avonds nodigen de tavernen aan het waterfront uit tot rustig genieten — een sfeer die weinig georganiseerde badplaatsen weten te bieden.
Beste tijd om te gaan
Eind april tot juni is ideaal voor vogelspotters tijdens de voorjaarstrek; in juli en augustus is het zwemseizoen op de rustige stranden in de omgeving op zijn best.
Hoe er te komen
Sigri ligt ongeveer 90 minuten tot twee uur rijden van Mytilini, via de hoofdweg westwaarts door het binnenland van het eiland — zorg dat u voldoende brandstof en proviand bij u heeft voor het laatste deel van de rit, want het dorp is klein en afgelegen.

We chose Sigri by chance because there were no other options for a one-night stay, but we were very pleased. It was spotlessly clean, and the owners were lovely people. The view was beautiful, and the sunset from the balcony was amazing. It was also great that breakfast was included.

If you are planning to have a calm, comfortable and quiet peaceful holiday on Lesvos, this is the place to go. Apart from the hotel, which is a gem with clean rooms (they clean them every day!), and a great pool, it is Pavlos, the owner, that makes this stay a very valuable and great experience. Right from the moment he greets you, you know that you are in safe hands. He treats you like family and you feel like home. Not to be missed if you are planning to stay in Sigri. Teşekkürler komşu :)

Small, quiet, in a beautiful location with a sea view, clean, but could use some improvements, such as having someone at the reception to serve you when needed, having more toilet paper (instead of half) and not having a cracked sink

The owner opened the hotel just for us! We came during the off season and were the only people in the hotel. He personally cooked breakfast for us and gave us all the flexibility we wanted on when to have breakfast and when to check in and check out. The room was good, the view was amazing! The gardens are quite nice too.

A very quiet and clean hotel. It is not the Ritz-Carlton, but does nicely as a place to stay in Sigri. The breakfast is top quality and the rooms are adequate and clean with views of the sea. A good mid-level choice located on the outskirts of town.
