Wat u kunt verwachten
Een taxi boeken in de buurt van Petra betekent dat u achteroverleunt terwijl iemand die het eiland door en door kent het stuur overneemt. Chauffeurs delen vaak kleine tips die u nergens in een reisgids vindt — een terras op de juiste hoogte, een dorpsbron, het perfecte tijdstip om ergens aan te komen. Het is een rustiger en persoonlijker manier van reizen dan een huurauto.
Beste tijd om te gaan
Het hele jaar door nuttig, maar het meest gevraagd in juli en augustus wanneer parkeerplaatsen schaars zijn en avonduitjes in Molyvos een comfortabele terugrit vereisen.
Hoe er te komen
De dienst is gevestigd nabij Petra aan de noordkust, op ongeveer een uur rijden van Mytilini via de kustweg. Voor luchthaventransfers of ritten naar andere delen van Lesbos wordt vooraf reserveren sterk aangeraden.

We have always used Lesvos Taxis for airport transfers to Molyvos. They arrive on time and make the journey easy and relaxing. This year we had extra need of their services when I fell on a footpath near Petra and hurt my wrist. The hotel booked the taxi to the Health Centre at Kalloni and said that my driver would wait to bring me home. When the medics there said I needed to go to the hospital in Mytilene, he didn’t hesitate to take me the extra distance and when we arrived he acted as my translator, navigated the red tape, got me seen quickly and even bought bottles of water for me and my husband. I honestly don’t know how I would have coped without him then, or when I went back 2 days later to be admitted for surgery. Always with a smile, nothing too much trouble. And this at a fixed price with time no object. Due to a misunderstanding I didn’t get my drivers name, but I can’t thank him or the boss, Christos, enough for all their help and support.

We have been holidaying on Lesvos for 20 years and have used Lesvos Taxi Service for many of those years, for both Airport Transfers and local trips on the island. We have never experienced anything but a first class service, always on time, friendly drivers and spotless cars. Theo and Astrid have always been most helpful and dead friendly. We are booking our transfers with them again this year as usual, and would highly recommend them to anyone visiting Lesvos. You won't be disappointed.!

Amazing service and highly recommend Lesvos Taxi Service !! We were lucky enough to do a day trip to Lesvos last year and we had a lot we wanted to see in one day. I googled a taxi service and was lucky enough to find the best service by accident. I had great email communication from Theo and Astrid in order to plan the day and I am thrilled with their service. There was no way we would have been able to see so much in one day without Theo’s amazing driving and knowledge. Theo also made it such a fun day for us, so much so that we can’t wait to go back to Lesvos again ! It honestly felt like we were spending the day with friends who were going out of their way to make our day enjoyable and our memories unforgettable. For excellent communication and great service you should use Lesvos Taxi Service. Make sure you stay longer than a day (there is soooo much to see) and let Astrid and Theo help you plan your trip as their knowledge of the island is second to none ! I visited Molyvos from Mitilini with Theo and Astrid. It was a wonderful afternoon driving through more and more progressively beautiful scenery - from mountains, to olive tree valleys, picturesque towns and the coast. Pick up was punctual, and the car was very clean and comfortable. Price was fair for distance travelled. It was very interesting to speak with both Theo and Astrid. They are knowledgeable about the island, the country, culture and everything you need to know. And, they are flexible on giving you time to explore. I would definitely recommend a ride with them if you are visiting this beautiful island.
