Genesteld in het rustige platteland nabij het dorp Chliara in oostelijk Lesbos, ontleent Lithos Villas zijn naam aan het Griekse woord voor steen, een passend eerbetoon aan de traditionele Egeïsche architectuur die deze accommodaties kenmerkt. Het pand is gebouwd in harmonie met de inheemse stijl van het eiland en biedt gasten een gevoel van verbondenheid met het landschap — dikke stenen muren die de kamers koel houden in de zomer, terracotta dakpannen die verweerd zijn tot een warme okerkleur, en een omgeving die onaangetast lijkt door de drukte van de meer toeristische delen van Griekenland.
Een verblijf in Lithos Villas plaatst bezoekers in een van de meest serene en minder verkende delen van Lesbos, waar de ritmes van het landelijke eilandleven grotendeels intact zijn gebleven. Wat u kunt verwachten
De stenen villa's liggen in het rustige platteland bij het dorpje Chliara, omgeven door olijfgaarden en een landschap dat nauwelijks door toerisme is aangetast. De dikke stenen muren houden de kamers op natuurlijke wijze koel en het terras wordt al snel de favoriete plek van de dag. Het verblijf in een villa geeft u de vrijheid om op uw eigen tempo Molyvos, Petra en de thermen van Eftalou te verkennen.
Beste tijd om te gaan
Eind lente en begin herfst zijn het aangenaamst; juli en augustus kunnen erg warm zijn, maar de stenen constructie houdt de binnenruimten koel.
Hoe er te komen
De villa's liggen hemelsbreed ongeveer 54 km van Mytilini; reken op minstens een uur tot anderhalf uur rijden over de kronkelende wegen van het eiland. Het huren van een auto in Mytilini is veruit de handigste optie, want het openbaar vervoer naar dit gebied is beperkt.

I visited Lithos Villas with my family for two nights. From the moment we arrived, the service and kindness of the owner was amazing. The room was spotlessly clean, very beautiful and well-kept, carefully made with love. It had everything for a family of four like us. There were bowls of water and food everywhere for the kittens that roamed the yard. I highly recommend you visit this accommodation. We loved it from the first moment. Congratulations on your excellent hospitality. We will definitely visit it again.

Great experience, beautiful, peaceful and clean place. Stayed for three nights (booked directly through their website). The Lithos Team were super responsive and helpful. Bonus was neighbourly cats that we had the privilege of observing and feeding.

Clean and comfortable space. Free bike for transportation. Polite owner and cleaning staff with prompt service for anything we needed. They provide you with shampoo samples and some things in the fridge, soft drinks, etc. Comfortable kitchen with all the necessary household utensils. Comfortable parking. Quiet place suitable for relaxation. Good location. I highly recommend it. The stay was last year.

We stayed at Lithos Villas end June 2023 with my daughters. It is a very lovely place; nicely located, very comfortable, cosy and the hosts family Vloutis, Despina and Christina are simply amazing. We had enjoyed also the bikes they had for the guests. I would re-visit definitely if I come to Eresos again.
