Beautiful place. Very nice location, very kind people, but there were no sockets near the beds, there was not always hot water - it ran out and unfortunately the toilet didn't work.
We stayed for a week as two people, 6 nights and 7 days. The price performance is excellent. The owner of the apartment, Mr. Dimitri, was a very friendly person. I would like to thank him very much. If I go to Lesbos again, I will definitely stay there.

Pefka Rooms biedt reizigers een gastvrije uitvalsbasis om de stillere, minder toeristische uithoeken van Lesbos te verkennen. De naam Pefka, wat in het Grieks 'pijnbomen' betekent, verwijst naar het weelderige, harsachtige landschap rondom dit deel van het eiland, waar het levenstempo vertraagt en de omgeving verandert van kustlijn in zachte heuvels bezaaid met olijfgaarden en mediterraan struikgewas.

De omgeving beloont wie graag door traditionele dorpjes slenteren, halt houden bij lokale kafeneions en op zoek gaan naar de minder bekende natuurlijke schoonheid van het eiland. Lesbos is een van de grootste eilanden van de Egeïsche Zee, en een comfortabele, onopgesmukte plek om te rusten maakt een wereld van verschil wanneer u het eiland op uw eigen tempo verkent.
Voor bezoekers die Lesbos willen beleven voorbij het beroemde versteende woud of de bedrijvige haven van Mytilene biedt Pefka Rooms precies de eenvoudige, oprechte gastvrijheid die het reizen naar de Griekse eilanden al lang kenmerkt. Het pension is bij uitstek geschikt voor onafhankelijke reizigers, vogelaars die worden aangetrokken door de rijke trekvogelstand in de regio, en iedereen die op zoek is naar een rustiger alternatief voor de meer commerciële toeristische centra van het eiland.

Wat u kunt verwachten
Pefka Rooms biedt u een rustig onderkomen in de dennenbossen ten oosten van Mytilini, dicht bij de hoofdstad maar ver van de drukte. De omgeving van het dorpje Pligoni leent zich uitstekend voor ochtendwandelingen door olijfgaarden en bezoekjes aan lokale kafeneions waar het leven zijn eigen tempo heeft. Vogelaars waarderen deze streek bijzonder, zeker in het voorjaar tijdens de doortrek.
Beste tijd om te gaan
Eind lente tot vroeg najaar is het aangenaamst; april en mei zijn bij uitstek geschikt voor vogelobservatie, terwijl juli en augustus erg warm kunnen zijn.
Hoe er te komen
Pefka Rooms ligt op slechts een paar kilometer van Mytilini — een korte rit het binnenland van Lesbos in brengt u bij het dorp Pligoni en de omliggende dennenbossen.

Independent houses with verandas and courtyards! Right in front, ample parking... spacious inside with new furniture, kitchenette and nice bathroom! In a good location next to the airport and the planes pass right above you... clean, very helpful lady and her son who manage them and at reasonable prices!

Nice welcome. Near the sea, far from the city. Not many buses running so taxi is your way of getting around if you don't have a car or something. Quite ok clean with some shortcomings. Not an accommodation for those who dislike extremely hard beds! The bed is my biggest minus for this accommodation as the whole night was a torment.

I found the price on online booking sites, then called Dimitri and got a discount. Dimitri is a very nice person, and the place is quiet and rural, located between the airport and the center of Mytilene. There's also a beach nearby, served by a public bus. I loved the place and will definitely return when I go back to Mytilene.

Excellent environment. Trees and tranquility everywhere. Comfortable parking space. Very cooperative and helpful owner. The furniture in the rooms and the frames need a renovation for the benefit of everyone.

Nice small apartments for renting. Excellent for the summer period. Not recommended for the cold months of the year. You may need a car for city center. The beach is a 5 minute walk though.
