Over ons

At the beginning of September, my daughter and I arrived at your fantastic hotel. She had invited me on a luxury vacation that was supposed to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. She wanted to pamper me. When we checked in, we found out that what the travel agency had promised her didn't match the room that had been booked for us. My daughter was devastated, as this wasn't the vacation she had imagined. She was on the verge of tears. Your incredibly wonderful and sweet receptionist, Sotiria, magically solved our problem, so we still had a five-star experience at your hotel. Porto Plomari has the most beautiful infinity pool and is just a few steps from the loveliest swim in the sea. It's everything one could dream of if looking for a relaxing luxury getaway. A thousand thanks, Porto Plomari, for helping make this the best vacation experience ever.

A Luxurious Hideaway with a Few Rough Edges: Porto Plomari stands out as the most luxurious hotel in Lesvos, gracefully built within a restored olive-oil factory that blends traditional architecture with contemporary elegance. Amenities include an infinity pool, private beach, spa, fitness area, paddle-tennis court, and the fusion-style Litridi restaurant. Review: Perfect… almost! Porto Plomari is honestly one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The location is stunning, the atmosphere is calm, and the overall standard is top tier. The staff are generally very professional and helpful — with a few exceptions, which I’ll get back to shortly. Our room was spacious, with large open windows that let in plenty of light, giving a real sense of airiness. It was spotless, modern, and well-maintained. The pool area, however, is the real showstopper. Wow! You’re welcomed into a large, open space featuring a generous infinity pool that seems to melt into the ocean view. Gentle background music plays, and a stylish poolside bar serves drinks beside comfortable sun loungers. Breakfast was good, with fresh and tasty options, though the selection could be a bit wider. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the staff and given a thorough introduction to the hotel — a really nice touch. They made it clear that reserving sunbeds before 10 a.m. was not allowed. Unfortunately, some guests still turned up at the crack of dawn every day to claim their spots, often taking four or five beds at a time. This left other guests, ourselves included, wandering around looking for available loungers with no luck. Disappointingly, the staff didn’t address it, and failed to enforce their own policy. Would suggest finding a different way to handle this, or remove the rule entirely. A few of the younger team members seemed inexperienced and a little unsure, making communication a bit tricky at times. Apart from breakfast, the food didn’t live up to expectations and felt a bit overpriced and unoriginal. The gyro, for example, was drenched in an odd fried-rice flavored oil. The pasta was overcooked and under-seasoned and the burger was dry. For a 5-star hotel, this was disappointing. If you’re after great Greek food, skip the hotel restaurant and head to Plomari’s town center — you’ll find excellent gyros and other delights for a third of the price. Each room having its own private network is a great idea, but in practice, the connection was a bit patchy. We ended up relying on 4G quite a bit. Overall experience; Despite the few downsides, Porto Plomari offers a beautiful setting, superb pool area, and a relaxing atmosphere. With some very small improvements — especially in food quality and staff — it could easily be a flawless stay. The sunbed issue isn’t always something the staff can control, but a firmer hand on thier own policy would benefit the experience greatly for future guests, as it triggered quite a bit of conflict between some guests. I would absolutely return, but with my expectations adjusted slightly. If you can look past these minor flaws, you’ll have an excellent vacation here.

Even though we have booked for two persons and a child on the phone, pretty clearly and understandable.. when we arrived with our daughter they were looking at us like we were ghosts! They said that they dont accept children in the restaurant and that they couldn’t do nothing even though we have traveled from the other side of Lesvos! Totally unprofessional, unacceptable behaviour from the stuff! Uneducated and bad mannered!! Ps we even talked about the baby’s STROLLER in the phone so the fact that they misheard is out of the plan.

An Unforgettable Week of Luxury and Impeccable Service! My week-long stay at this hotel was nothing short of extraordinary, and I can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by its prime location – just a stone's throw from a charming town and a short, pleasant walk to a beautiful, easily accessible beach. My room was a sanctuary of comfort and indulgence, especially the spacious layout and the private jacuzzi, which was an absolute dream after a day of exploring. The hotel's amenities are equally impressive. The infinity pool with its breathtaking sea views quickly became my favorite spot to relax, and the well-equipped gym was perfect for staying active. But the real showstopper was the dining experience. Opting for the inclusive dinner was one of the best decisions I made. Every single night brought a new, exciting themed buffet, showcasing the chef's remarkable talent and dedication to quality. The variety was incredible, with ample options for vegetarians – a true culinary delight each evening. Beyond the luxurious facilities, what truly set this hotel apart was the outstanding service. Every single member of staff, from the warm receptionists to the meticulous housekeeping team, and the incredibly attentive restaurant and bar staff, were consistently friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to assist. Their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident in every interaction. I truly had an amazing time and would return in a heartbeat. This hotel is a gem! Come if you are a nordic person or not. :)

If you are celiac (or have any form for food allergies) I do NOT recommend this hotel. Me and my mother stayed here for a week and was promised special gluten free dinner. We both got sick that night, because turns out, the food was not gluten free. The chef also made sure it was not normal food poisoning, so it had to be gluten in the food. They do not take any responsibility for this because they say things like this can happen, even though they promised it was gluten free. Do not recommend. The beds are also rock hard.

We stayed here for two weeks in August and really loved our stay! The hotel is beautifully located on an amazing private beach. You could just sit there all day and listen to the sea and small waves coming to the shore. It was very quiet and peaceful and one of the most relaxing hotels we have ever been to. Breakfast was fantastic, fresh bread, fruits, yogurt and vegetables along with warm food. Our favorite though was the amazing fresh orange juice they served every day, we have never had better! The room was clean and comfortable and the ac worked great. Since it was a new hotel there were a lot of hiccups such as bad or no communication by the staff. From day one they knew I was vegetarian but every night I had to tell them and many times I got the same main course again instead of having what everyone else was having and just made vegetarian, we had half board. The wait staff forgot our orders or sometimes gave me the wrong dish, almost all were inexperienced. For lunch, you could order some things off the menu but you had to ask, it would have been nice to know in advance. However, everyone was incredibly sweet and nice and we enjoyed talking with all the staff. There were problems when we changed rooms after the first week, nobody told us we had to move and the older receptionist was very rude. Thankfully Maria at the reception was always nice and lovely to speak with. Many changes were made as we stayed there and we saw a lot of improvements. I can only imagine that this summer they will be up in full swing and ready to welcome guests again. The staff at the bar were really fantastic and nice and always very attentive. Overall, we loved our two week stay and wouldn't hesitate to come back and recommend this beautiful new hotel along the beach!

They claim themselves and charge you as 5 stars hotel... but, honestly? The restaurant is not so good and really expensive. If you want good for for fair price the local restaurants if the city will do a much better job. it's really difficult to have a sunbed by the pool, the guests have none consideration and there's no rules, people just walk to the pool 6am and lay a towel in a sunbed and it's theirs now, even tho they don't use it all day long, it's "reserved"... the hotel could give some reminders of politeness, but... ps: you need to pay (a lot...) if you wanna playing in the paddle court...
