Το Isalos βρίσκεται κοντά στην παραλία της Πέτρας, με τον εντυπωσιακό βράχο που στέφεται από εκκλησία και την αμμώδη παραλία που απλώνεται μπροστά. Καθώς ο ήλιος βυθίζεται στο Αιγαίο και οι πέτρινες προσόψεις αρχίζουν να χρυσίζουν, ένα ούζο ή μια παγωμένη μπύρα βρίσκει τον τέλειο τόπο του. Ντόπιοι και ταξιδιώτες μοιράζονται έναν χώρο χαλαρό και κοινωνικό.
Καλύτερη εποχή
Από τα τέλη της άνοιξης ως τις αρχές του φθινοπώρου· Ιούλιος και Αύγουστος είναι ζωντανοί αλλά και πολυσύχναστοι, ενώ Μάιος, Ιούνιος και Σεπτέμβριος προσφέρουν ζέστη με λιγότερο κόσμο.
Πώς θα φτάσετε
Η Πέτρα απέχει περίπου 40 χλμ βορειοδυτικά της Μυτιλήνης — συνήθως γύρω στα 50 λεπτά με αυτοκίνητο, περνώντας από την Καλλονή.

An incredibly atmospheric place. We happened to be sitting at tables on the rocks by the water. They're not stable, but they're very charming. I don't know about the food, as we only ordered two beers, which we got a small snack with for free. Beautiful location.
