I stayed at Alkaidos Rooms for 10 nights, and they were incredibly helpful. The breakfast was nice, and the beautiful garden with the orange trees smelled amazing. The room was very clean and warm during my stay in March. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city, with everything just a minute's walk away and lovely shops nearby. Despite being centrally located, it's a quiet and charming area. The owner, Theodoros, was exceptionally helpful and kind. It's situated in a beautiful old Greek mansion, and my family has enjoyed staying at this hotel throughout the years. We all plan to come again. I will definitely recommend this place and look forward to returning.

Cozy rooms, the family who runs the place made us instantly feel very welcome and at home. They also provided us with a lot of information and places to visit in this beautiful island. The building itself is also full of character! Added bonus if you visit during spring, as the garden smells amazing from the blossoming trees and flowers! Will definitely visit again!

We stayed there for 2 nights with my husband. The only good thing is location. The Hotel is very close to city centre. The street where the hotel is located is very narrow. So finding a car park is difficult. We stayed first floor. Hotel is wooden building that’s why there is no sound insulation. I woke up every morning at 5:30 am because of the people of the upstairs. No hot water in the bathroom. No shampoo or conditioner etc. Since the shower curtain is made of vinyl, all the water from the shower leaked outside. Everyday same breakfast serviced and inadequate. Garden is nice. Receptionist woman can speak just a little bit Turkish as well. Wi-Fi was ok.

Alkaios rooms are accessible on foot from the port; you could walk everywhere. By the garden are few tables for having a breakfeast and/or sipping a coffee. The breakfast is not really rich but there is a close bakery for enriching your breakfast. The owner is really helpful. The only negative point is that the bathroom was outdated; not really comfortable.

My family has stayed in a room that is offered by this establishment. Hygiene (unclean toilet, dirty bath) and poor room condition (mold on walls, furniture in bad condition and broken showerhead) were least of their problems compared to the woman (employee or employer of the hotel, who knows) who choose to (literally) yell at them early in the morning in response to their complaints. They faced an uncivilized and primitive approach by that woman just because they verbally addressed their complaints to the reception desk. Yelling and physically walking up to a customer just for addressing a complaint is unacceptable.

Picturesque small hotel in the heart of Mitilini town. Offers breakfast and a good size rooms. Needs to provide better quality cleaning. The room was unfortunately very dusty! However, everyday change of towels and rubbish and every 3 days cleaning service which needs to be updated. Staff was polite and helpful. Allowed me to stay after check out hours as I was travelling late. Will definetly go back!

What a charming little Hotel in the Center of Mytilini. You can feel and see that everything is done well and with great passion.!The crew is super friendly and very helpful during the time I stayed there. The offer a good breakfast as well where you might find all you like to have in the morning. In the room even if they are tiny you find sockets almost everywhere and the closet has enough hangers for your cloth. You have hot water heater together with a section of tea and instant coffee. Even a little refrigerator and a hairdryer is placed in the room with great care. Don’t go you might feel comfortable and like to stay forever.
