Anaxos è amata per la sua lunga spiaggia sabbiosa in leggera pendenza e le acque calme e poco profonde, che la rendono una meta preferita dalle famiglie e da chi cerca un'alternativa più tranquilla alle località più affollate dell'isola. Soggiornare in questi studios significa avere la libertà di una base: un angolo cottura, un proprio spazio e quel ritmo rilassato che questo angolo di Lesbo incoraggia naturalmente.
Il nord-ovest di Lesbo è tra le regioni più panoramiche dell'isola, con i pendii boscosi del massiccio del Lepetymnos che si innalzano dietro la costa e, nelle giornate limpide, la costa turca visibile attraverso lo stretto scintillante. Da Anaxos, gli ospiti possono facilmente esplorare il villaggio medievale di Molyvos (Mithymna), a breve distanza in auto, con il suo imponente castello bizantino e i vicoli lastricati in pietra, così come il tradizionale villaggio di Petra con la sua caratteristica chiesa sulla scogliera. Il Michelle's Studios è adatto ai viaggiatori che desiderano una vera base nel paesaggio piuttosto che un'esperienza alberghiera: un luogo in cui tornare dopo una giornata in spiaggia o un'escursione tra gli uliveti e i porti di pescatori che definiscono questo angolo settentrionale dell'isola.

Cosa aspettarsi
Gli studio si trovano proprio ai margini di una lunga spiaggia sabbiosa dove l'acqua rimane calma e bassa anche lontano dalla riva, donando alle mattine un ritmo naturalmente lento. Nel pomeriggio arriva una brezza rinfrescante dallo stretto — nelle giornate limpide si scorge la costa turca dal lungomare — e le serate si consumano nella quiete tipica dei piccoli borghi costieri.
Periodo migliore
Da fine maggio a settembre è il periodo migliore per nuotare; a luglio e agosto la spiaggia si riempie prima di mezzogiorno, quindi è consigliabile prenotare con anticipo.
Come arrivare
Da Mitilene si percorre la strada verso nord in direzione di Kalloni, poi verso nord-ovest fino a Petra; il tragitto fino ad Anaxos richiede circa un'ora e un quarto.

Although the furniture, bathroom and air conditioning were old, it was a clean and quiet family business.We stayed for 3 nights and visited Petra and Molyvos from here.

Very nice rooms, clean and tidy, and designed to be comfortable and easy to use. The outside area is very well maintained, and also has a swimming pool and parking. It is also worth noting that there is very good communication with the owner for anything you need

It is a great place to stay in Lesvos. Clean and neat, with gardens and a pool and a great view of the sea and the sunset. The rooms are also clean, spacious and equipped with everything you need. The owners are friendly, very kind, and always available if something comes up or there is a question. I highly recommend the accommodation for your vacation. It's very good for the price, but the kitchen is a bit small and lacks kitchenware. The view is lovely, and the beach is within walking distance. The pool was poorly maintained, but there's no point in swimming in it when you have Anaxos Beach.
