Great place for food and sea. We have travelled many Greek islands and food here is in our top 3 . variatiy of Ouzo and amazing sea food. Spare time to visit here and enjpy the food and atmosphere

Χτισμένη στην άκρη του Αιγαίου, εκεί όπου το χωριό Ταρτί συναντά τη θάλασσα, η Ταβέρνα Παραλία Ταρτί είναι ένα από εκείνα τα αμέριμνα μέρη που ορίζουν τον ρυθμό του ελληνικού νησιώτικου καλοκαιριού. Όπως τα καλύτερα παραθαλάσσια εστιατόρια της Λέσβου, βρίσκεται στο γλυκό σημείο μεταξύ απλότητας και ικανοποίησης — ένα μέρος όπου μπορείτε να τραβήξετε μια καρέκλα στα βήματα από το νερό, να παραγγείλετε μια κανάτα τοπικό κρασί και να αφήσετε το απόγευμα να διαλυθεί εντελώς. Ο κατάλογος βασίζεται στη θάλασσα και την εποχή: φρεσκοπιασμένα ψάρια, χταπόδι στα κάρβουνα και μεζέδες που ανταμείβουν το αργό φαγητό και την καλή παρέα.
Αυτό που κάνει την επίσκεψη εδώ αξιόλογη ξεπερνά το φαγητό. Η βορειοανατολική ακτή της Λέσβου είναι πιο ήσυχη και λιγότερο πολυσύχναστη από τις τουριστικές λωρίδες που συναντά κανείς αλλού στο Αιγαίο, και το Ταρτί διατηρεί έναν γνήσια τοπικό χαρακτήρα. Το δείπνο στην ταβέρνα σάς τοποθετεί μέσα σε αυτόν τον κόσμο και όχι απλώς δίπλα του — περιτριγυρισμένοι από ψαράδικες βάρκες, τη μυρωδιά της αλμύρας και τη θέα προς τις τουρκικές ακτές που σας θυμίζει πόσο βαθιά στην ανατολική Μεσόγειο έχετε ταξιδέψει. Είναι το είδος του γεύματος που μένει στη μνήμη πολύ αφότου αδειάσει το πιάτο.

Τα τραπέζια βρίσκονται στην άκρη της θάλασσας, με τις αλιευτικές βάρκες να αγκυροβολούν δίπλα τους. Η κουζίνα ακολουθεί τη θάλασσα και την εποχή — φρέσκο ψάρι, χταπόδι στη σχάρα, μεζέδες για αργό φαγητό σε καλή παρέα — ενώ η θέα φτάνει ως τις τουρκικές ακτές απέναντι.
Καλύτερη εποχή
Ιδανική είναι η εποχή από τα τέλη της άνοιξης έως τις αρχές του φθινοπώρου· τον Ιούλιο και τον Αύγουστο ο κόσμος αυξάνεται, οπότε καλό είναι να φτάνετε νωρίς για τραπέζι στο νερό.
Πώς θα φτάσετε
Από τη Μυτιλήνη, ακολουθήστε τον παράκτιο δρόμο προς τα βορειοανατολικά για το Ταρτί — η διαδρομή διαρκεί περίπου 20-25 λεπτά και σας φέρνει κατευθείαν στην παραλία του χωριού.

Fresh octopus and squid. Salads taste like salads and not cardboard. Also the portions are proper portions, not just a few bites to nibble on. It's right next to the sea, which allows you to grab a bite after going for a swim. I will definitely be coming back.

If you want to feel the true spirit of the Aegean, this is the place to be! The natural charm of the venue, the attentive service, and the exquisite Greek cuisine made for an unforgettable day. The beach area is exceptionally clean and peaceful, while the restaurant offers a truly gastronomic delight. Highly recommended!

Very nice beach with a beautiful sea and delicious food. 5 people, ate a lot of food, drank ouzos, beers etc and paid only 54 euros. Waooow! Will go there again absolutely

This tavern has great prices and amazing views. Beautiful beach is just 2 meters away from your table. For a beer, big bottle of water and two sets of food (meat + fish) we paid only 30€ which seems like nothing compared to the amount of fantastic food we received.

Loved this Greek taverna! We came to Tarti Beach four different times and every time ate at this hidden gem. The service was always a bit slow but that is because they were always crazy busy, every table was packed full of people. Everything we ordered was fantastic, minus the fries. The fries were always a bit disappointing but we didn't go there for them so it didn't matter. I loved the cheese pie, cooked greens, beans and fried zucchini flowers ad well as the Greek salad. Great prices and fantastic food!

Classical beach taverna with reasonable prices and good food options. Christal clear cold water. We liked the natural beach, very calm. Make sure to go early since you may not find available sun-beds.
