This place has the best meatballs I ever tasted. The prices are fair, unlike the tourist traps in many other spots. The music is great for rock fans. And the hidden beach is one of the island's finest, with no crowds, plenty of shade, a shower and a changing room.

Στη μακρινή δυτική άκρη της Λέσβου, το The End Beach Bar δικαιώνει πλήρως το εύγλωττο όνομά του — εδώ τελειώνει ουσιαστικά ο δρόμος στο νησί, κι η άφιξη εδώ μοιάζει με ανταμοιβή μετά από τη μακρά, ελικοειδή διαδρομή μέσα από ηφαιστειογενείς λόφους και ελαιώνες προς το χωριό του Σίγρι. Με το ανοιχτό Αιγαίο να απλώνεται αδιάλειπτο ως τον ορίζοντα και την τραχιά ακτογραμμή μιας από τις πιο απομακρυσμένες γωνιές της Ελλάδας ως φόντο, η τοποθεσία από μόνη της αρκεί για να κάνει αυτό το μπαρ αξιοθέατο. Το Σίγρι είναι από μόνο του ένα ήσυχο μα γοητευτικό μέρος, ένα μικρό ψαροχώρι που κινείται με τον δικό του αργό ρυθμό, κι The End συλλαμβάνει αυτό το πνεύμα με τον πιο φυσικό τρόπο.
Οι επισκέπτες μπορούν να καθίσουν αναπαυτικά με ένα κρύο ποτό — τοπικές μπύρες, ελληνικά αποστάγματα ή ένα δροσιστικό κοκτέιλ — και να αφήσουν απλά το απόγευμα να διαλυθεί στον ήχο των κυμάτων και στο αλμυρό αεράκι. Η θέση του μπαρ δίπλα στην παραλία το καθιστά φυσικό σημείο συνάντησης για κολυμβητές, ναυτικούς και ταξιδιώτες με αυτοκίνητο που έχουν κάνει το προσκύνημά τους σε αυτή τη λιγότερο γνωστή γωνιά της Λέσβου. Καθώς ο ήλιος κατεβαίνει προς το νερό στο πρώτο βράδυ, ο δυτικός προσανατολισμός χαρίζει μερικά από τα πιο εντυπωσιακά ηλιοβασιλέματα του νησιού, βάφοντας τον ουρανό με χρώματα σχεδόν θεατρικά μπροστά στη σκοτεινή σιλουέτα των λόφων του απολιθωμένου δάσους.
Είτε σταματάτε για μια παγωμένη Μύθο μετά από ένα απόγευμα στο κοντινό Φυσικό Μουσείο Απολιθωμένου Δάσους Λέσβου του Σίγρι, είτε μένετε ως αργά το βράδυ παρακολουθώντας τα αστέρια να ανατέλλουν πάνω από το Αιγαίο, το The End Beach Bar προσφέρει κάτι ολοένα και πιο σπάνιο στη Μεσόγειο: έναν γνήσια αμέριμνο, ανεπιτήδευτο τόπο στην άκρη του κόσμου, όπου ο χρόνος επιβραδύνεται και η θέα μιλάει από μόνη της.

Καθίστε σε μια καρέκλα αποχρωματισμένη από τον ήλιο με ένα δροσερό ποτό και αφήστε το ανοιχτό Αιγαίο να κάνει τη δουλειά του — εδώ οι επισκέπτες φτάνουν, βγάζουν τα πέδιλά τους και μένουν πολύ περισσότερο από ό,τι σχεδίαζαν. Η δυτική τοποθεσία μετατρέπει το μπαρ σε μια θέση πρώτης σειράς για μερικά από τα πιο εντυπωσιακά ηλιοβασιλέματα του νησιού, που τραβούν κολυμβητές και ταξιδιώτες που έκαναν τη μεγάλη διαδρομή ως τη Σίγρη ακριβώς γι' αυτή τη στιγμή.
Καλύτερη εποχή
Ιούνιο έως Σεπτέμβριο για κολύμβηση και ηλιοβασιλέματα· μια επίσκεψη τη καθημερινή τον Ιούλιο ή τον Αύγουστο εξασφαλίζει πιο ήρεμη ατμόσφαιρα.
Πώς θα φτάσετε
Από τη Μυτιλήνη, ακολουθήστε τον κεντρικό δρόμο προς τα δυτικά με κατεύθυνση τη Σίγρη — υπολογίστε περίπου 1,5 με 2 ώρες ανάλογα με τις στάσεις. Το μπαρ βρίσκεται στην παραλιακή άκρη του χωριού, μερικά βήματα από την παραλία.

I’m not one to make quick judgments or leave harsh reviews for places, but this one unfortunately warrants it. I'm genuinely puzzled as to how this place managed to receive an average rating of 4.7 stars from around fifty reviews. This spot appears to be a gathering place for campers from the surrounding area, and they seem content with it, likely because it’s the only option nearby offering food, some shade, and a toilet—though the cleanliness leaves much to be desired. There are several areas that need significant improvement: 1, All the chairs were covered in dust. We had to clean them ourselves. 2, The inside of this small café was filthy. They had sticky fly traps hanging from the lamps, which seemed effective given the number of dead flies stuck to them. However, the traps were old and clearly hadn’t been changed in a while. 3, There was no proper staff. We interacted with three different people, assuming they were responsible, only to find out they were other customers trying to help out. 4, We ordered meatballs, salad, fries, and sardines (as these were the only items on the menu). A limited menu is fine, but the presentation was dreadful and nothing like the photos in previous reviews. 5, When it came time to pay, the owner or responsible person was nowhere to be found. They never showed up, possibly due to illness or needing to step out briefly. Another customer ended up assisting with the payment, but she didn’t have a price list. She only knew the price of the meatballs (8 Euros), which consisted of just eight small pieces.

We were positively surprised by the quality of the light lunch and coffee we had here! Amazingly tasty! The place is a cool alternative place under the trees by the splendid beach. Very relaxing atmosphere, great music and service. Highly recommended!

In fact there are old and dirty chairs and i don’t like this kind of things.But this place has a different spirit,like a magical place.The beach and sea is awesome.We enjoyed our whole day on these dirty chairs.Get a lemonade (the lady makes it very well) or cold beer and let’s chill:))
