Located in the Molyvos market, this shop offers wonderful creations by a master ceramic artist. Every time I go to Molyvos, I buy different pieces and take them home with me :) They're very tasteful and very talented 👍🏼✨ I highly recommend visiting! ☺️

Charmant atelier de poterie Eau et Terre à Molyvos, tenu par Sotiris et Vaso, proposant des céramiques artisanales ornées de magnifiques détails peints à la main représentant des scènes locales. L'atelier en activité accueille les visiteurs pour observer les artisans en train de créer des pièces fonctionnelles et décoratives.
Avant de partir
À quoi s'attendre
En entrant dans l'atelier, vous trouverez probablement Sotiris ou Vaso en train de modeler l'argile, tandis que des pièces ornées de motifs égéens — pieuvres, branches d'olivier, paysages marins — sèchent sur les étagères. Vous pouvez observer la création de près et choisir directement en atelier une pièce unique à rapporter chez vous.
Quand y aller
De mai à octobre, l'atelier est en pleine activité et Molyvos connaît son animation touristique habituelle.
Comment s'y rendre
Depuis Mytilène, prenez la route vers le nord-ouest via Kalloni en direction de Molyvos — un trajet pittoresque d'environ 50 à 60 minutes. L'atelier se trouve dans le village même, accessible à pied depuis le parking.

I found the place quite randomly but was surprised by the painting details on the ceramics. Sotiris definitely has a unique talent - you'll find many scenes depicting Molivos, all in great detail! When I visited the workshop, Sotiris' wife, Vaso, was there. She gave me a tour of their workshop, talked about their work and was very friendly. Even suggested other ceramists I should visit on the island (as I'm an amateur ceramist myself).
