Il villaggio stesso è un luogo dove i ritmi della vita isolana greca rimangono in gran parte indisturbati dal turismo di massa, con una spiaggia di ciottoli, limpide acque dell’Egeo e una manciata di taverne che servono pesce appena pescato e mezedes locali. Gli studios di questa zona offrono tipicamente agli ospiti l’indipendenza di un proprio angolo cottura e spazio abitativo, rendendoli una base pratica e confortevole per esplorare questo tratto meno battuto dell’isola.
Soggiornando qui, i visitatori sono ben posizionati per scoprire il volto più dolce e tranquillo di Lesbo. Il paesaggio circostante è un mix di uliveti e colline ricoperte di pini che scendono verso il mare, e la luce nel tardo pomeriggio assume quella particolare qualità dorata per cui l’Egeo meridionale è famoso. Cosa aspettarsi
Soggiornare qui invita a rallentare il ritmo — ci si sveglia con la luce dell'Egeo, si scende in una piccola caletta di ciottoli per un bagno mattutino e si torna al proprio appartamento per preparare il pranzo con i prodotti del mercato locale. Gli uliveti e le colline ricoperte di pini che circondano il villaggio conferiscono un'atmosfera autentica e raccolta, lontana dai centri balneari più affollati dell'isola.
Periodo migliore
Da fine maggio a settembre per nuotare; luglio e agosto sono i mesi più caldi, quindi le mattine e le serate sono i momenti migliori per godere il luogo.
Come arrivare
Agios Isidoros si trova a circa 21 km a sud di Mitilene e si raggiunge in circa 30 minuti in auto seguendo la strada costiera. I mezzi pubblici sono limitati, quindi è consigliabile noleggiare un'auto o prendere un taxi.

Everything was wonderful, especially the hotel owners Irene and Ralph — they were amazing hosts. Many thanks again for their kind gift as well. The rooms were spotless and everything was sparkling clean. As long as you follow their advice regarding parking, you won’t have any problems. If we ever come back to Lesvos, this will definitely be the only place we’d want to stay again 🙏

Amazing location right in front of the beach. 2 min walk to a coffee shop, convenience store and gym. 20 min walk to the centre of Plomari. The rooftop is a great addition for enjoying a morning coffee or sunset drink. The apartments are modern and very clean. Hosts are fantastic , helpful and respond quickly to anything you need. Had a great stay and would highly recommend!!

Staying here was an incredible experience! From the moment I arrived, the hosts made me feel so welcome and went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed! The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had such a cozy and relaxing vibe. I especially loved the thoughtful little touches that made the space feel extra special👌🏼 The location was great, and their recommendations for local spots were so helpful—I got to experience some hidden gems I wouldn’t have found on my own. It truly felt like a home away from home, and I can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a warm and comfortable stay! 😃

A wonderful experience during our stay with all my family and friends. My perfect vacation with many wedding venues on the island. The upmarket suites were well maintained with all the necessary amenities and helpful staff and management. . We had leasure time on the deck on top of the apartments and listened to the beetles singing and the water breaking on the shore at sunsets. The shops, bars and restaurants was welcomed and a walk away from our apartment. The beaches provided free deck chairs and umbrellas against the middeterranian sunshine that warmed our day. Cant wait to book OVS on my next vacation to Lesvos Island.
