Wat u kunt verwachten
Wakker worden op een steenworp van het lange zandstrand van Petra, met de kerk van Glykofiloussa die hoog op haar rots boven het dorpsplein uittorent, zet meteen de toon voor een verblijf hier. De dagen glijden voorbij tussen het strand, de kafeneions aan het water en korte ritjes naar de middeleeuwse steegjes van Molyvos of de warmwaterbronnen van Eftalou.
Beste tijd om te gaan
Juni tot en met september is ideaal voor zwemmen; mei en oktober zijn uitstekend voor wandelen en vogelspotten met minder drukte en zacht licht.
Hoe er te komen
Petra ligt op ongeveer 50 minuten rijden van Mytilini via de weg die door de olijfgaarden van het eiland naar de noordwestkust slingert.

We just arrived and everything is fantastic. The hotel is very beautiful, the staff is very friendly and everything is clean and tidy. We arrived earlier than we expected we had a complimentary coffee and breakfast while we were waiting to check in. The hotel is right Infront of the the sea, the view from the room is marvellous and the aeria has many restaurants, coffee places and small shops. The view of the church is breathtaking!! I totally suggest this hotel for vacation!!

The owners are very kind and helpful, honestly I can't say that enough, it felt like I was staying with family. The location is perfect, right in front of the beach with plenty of delicious restaurants all around. The hotel breakfast is also really good. Definitely worth the money.

During many years we have stayed here numerous times, and it was lovely to stay here again after two years of Covid. This is the perfect place for us, with the location practically on the beach and in the centre of Petra. Good and spacious rooms with great views. Good breakfast and affordable prices. And as the icing on the cake, the very friendly owners Leonidas, Maro and uncle Kimon, who are very kind and helpful and who always have time for a good chat.

Good location within the town but the building is very old, low quality. Service was good, nothing impressive. The sea was very wavy, not good for families with little kids at all.
