Verscholen in het rustige platteland nabij het dorp Pyrgoi Thermis, op slechts een korte rit van Mytilini, bieden de Studios Heliatoras een gastvrije uitvalsbasis voor reizigers die het noordoostelijke deel van Lesbos op een ontspannen tempo willen verkennen. De naam roept de warmte van de Egeïsche zon op, en het gebouw maakt deze belofte waar met vrijstaande studio's die eenvoudig comfort mengen met het onhaastige ritme van het eilandleven. Het omringende landschap is typisch Lesbisch — glooiende heuvels bezaaid met olijfgaarden, geurend naar den en salie, met niet ver weg de glinstering van de Golf van Geras.
De ligging dicht bij Pyrgoi Thermis geeft gasten gemakkelijke toegang tot een van de meest historisch interessante thermale badtradities van het eiland. De warmwaterbronnen van Thermis trekken al generaties lang bezoekers naar dit gebied, en het oude badhuis blijft een bron van lokale trots. Vanuit Heliatoras kunnen gasten eropuit trekken naar de stranden van de oostkust, het prachtige klooster van Taxiarchis Mandamados bezoeken of de korte rit maken naar Mytilini-stad om daar het groots kasteel, de bruisende markstraten en de waterfront taverna's te ontdekken.
Studios Heliatoras past bij onafhankelijke reizigers die hun eigen reisschema willen bepalen — mensen die behoefte hebben aan een keuken om 's ochtends een kopje koffie met lokale honing te zetten, een rustig terras om 's middags te lezen, en een gemakkelijke terugkeer na een lange dag verkennen. Wat u kunt verwachten
Zelfstandige studio's met kitchenette in een rustige landelijke omgeving tussen Mytilini en de thermale bronnen van Thermis, omgeven door olijfgaarden en gehuld in een tempo dat zich nergens haast. De ochtenden beginnen met vogelgezang bij een familiegedreven accommodatie waar gasten de ruimte krijgen om op adem te komen. Thermi's historisch badhuis, de stranden aan de oostkust en Mytilini zelf liggen allemaal binnen een korte rit.
Beste tijd om te gaan
Van april tot oktober is ideaal voor de meeste bezoekers; de thermale bronnen zijn het hele jaar aangenaam, terwijl de nabijgelegen stranden vanaf eind mei geschikt zijn om in te zwemmen.
Hoe er te komen
Pyrgoi Thermis ligt ongeveer 8–9 km ten noordoosten van Mytilini, circa 15 minuten rijden door het olijfgaardlandschap van het eiland. Neem vanuit Mytilini de weg richting Thermis en volg de borden naar Pyrgoi Thermis.

The location, comfort, cleanliness, and kind hospitality of the property were simply magnificent. Even more valuable, however, was the hospitality of the owners, Christos and Giota. Spending time with them and learning about the island's history and culture, as well as human values and emotions, was invaluable. It was a truly wonderful holiday. We highly recommend it to anyone considering such an experience.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Yoda was so nice and extremely helpful. She made such great recommendations. She was kind enough to let us pick lemons from the beautiful tree in the garden before we left. Our room was room no 1 on the ground floor. It had a small kitchen with a small stove and fridge. We didn’t cook so didn’t really mind how small it was but the fridge was very convenient. It even had a small freezer. Bathroom was clean. Shampoo and showergel were provided. The only negative comment I’d make is that the shower is very very small. But for 2 nights we managed. Our bed was pretty comfortable. There was AC and a small balcony with a table and chairs. Wish there were mosquito screens, at least at the windows. Luckily it was windy during our stay so there were none in our room. There was also free parking space which was a relief. The beach is 5 minutes walk from the studio and the restaurants were nice as well with good food and good service. I wouldn’t say the same for the sea though. The sea in the south and west of the island’s far better. Overall, we’d definitely suggest this place and look forward to staying here again and thank Yoda once again for her hospitality.

Wonderful place and great welcoming. However flies are serious problem, a mosquito net is a must. Tablet is not effective, we could not open any window. Additionally, it is a blue flag beach nearby but the sea and the beach were very seaweed-filled.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay. It's a very nice place. The owner, Hristo, and his wife are wonderful people. It's a small kitchen, but it has almost everything. The garden is beautiful and has many amenities, including a barbecue. Parking is available.

Helpful and really friendly staff. Rooms are clean and spacious. And it is pretty close to the beach as well. Definitely 5 stars!
