Plomari, Yunanistan'ın uzo başkenti olarak tanınır; burada nesiller boyu süregelen usta damıtıcıların yurdu olan bu kasaba, neşe ve iyi yaşama dair bir geleneğin içinde yer alan mekan, bu mirası tüm doğallığıyla taşıyor. Restoranın adı, kasabanın önünde uzanan geniş Ege ufkunu çağrıştırıyor; mekânın ruhu da aynı açıklık ve bolluk anlayışını yansıtıyor.
Ziyaretçiler, en taze yerel deniz ürünleriyle hazırlanmış bir menü ve yıllarca gezginleri de yerlileri de memnun etmiş klasik Yunan tavernası lezzetleriyle karşılaşacak. Yakın sularda avlanan ızgara balıklar, paylaşmak için tasarlanmış mezeler ve tabii ki yerel şarap ya da Plomari'nin ünlü uzosundan dolu bir kadeh, hem sade hem de derinden doyurucu bir öğün vadediyor. Atmosfer rahat ve neşeli; öğle yemeğinin farkında bile olmadan öğleden sonraya uzadığı, kimsenin acele etmediği türden bir yer.
Midilli'nin güney kıyısını keşfedenler için Seven Seas Taverna, dinlenmek, güç toplamak ve adanın sakin ritmine kapılmak için ideal bir durak. Plomari'nin sahil kenarı, Midilli'nin en özgün Yunan köşelerinden biri; kuzeydeki tatil beldeleri kadar cilalı değil, ama bu yüzden bir öğün burada yemek yemek adayla sahici bir buluşma gibi hissettiriyor, bir gösteri değil. Masalar Ege kıyısına dönük kurulmuş; mezelerin gelmesinden önce kömürde pişen balığın kokusu sizi karşılıyor. Bir kadeh Midilli ouzosunun nasıl ikiye döndüğünü fark etmiyorsunuz ve kimse saate bakmıyor. Müdavimler arasında mahalle sakinleri ve özellikle deniz kenarında gerçek bir öğle yemeği için güneyden inen ziyaretçiler yan yana oturuyor.

Mayıs'tan Ekim'e kadar en uygun dönem; Ağustos'ta kıyıdaki masalar hızlı doluyor, ancak akşam meltemi ortamı keyifli kılıyor.
Nasıl gidilir
Midilli'den Plomari yönünde güneye giden ana yolu izleyin — yolculuk yaklaşık 35-45 dakika sürer. Kasabaya girince sahil şeridi kolayca bulunur ve boyunca kısa bir yürüyüş yapmaya değer.

We had pork and chicken suvlaki and crab salad. All were good, the portions were big, the service was friendly.

Welcoming staff, made to feel very welcome as tourists, so friendly and charming. The food was simple but absolutely DELICIOUS, every mouthful, truly tasty. We had fried Zucchini, stuffed mushrooms with a side of tzatziki to start. Then, grilled prawns (I think they are some of the most well seasoned prawns I’ve ever had), side of fries and a schnitzel with pepper sauce with a side of fried anchovies (must try)!!

Great location, very diverse menu to choose from. Service was great even though it was crowded . The grilled shrimps were fresh and tasty. The zucchini flowers were a generous portion and delicious. The fish is super fresh and the octopus in wine is tender and the sauce is wonderful. Highly recommend it!

We came to Seven Seas Taverna four times during our stay in Plomari — and for good reason! Despite its slightly touristic appearance, this is a true local family-run gem. The food is incredibly traditional, fresh, and full of flavour. You can really taste the quality and care in every dish. The moussaka is hands down the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve tried a lot over the years!). Add to that the lovely view over the harbour and a gentle sea breeze, and it’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy authentic Greek cuisine. The family running the taverna is also very warm and welcoming, which made every visit feel like coming home. Highly recommended! Special thanks to Thomas for recommending this spot 👌🏻

Perfect place for seafoods. We have been there on 07.07.25 and it was amazing. We ordered octopus and shrimp as advertiser and it was delicious and we had calamari as main dish and it was amazing. Personal is very kind. It’s best place if you want to try seafoods in Lesbos.

I think it was one of the best services on island. Really nice and competent waiters. Food was really nice seasoned and served. Best octopus from grill (and gr8 that waiter told me how to eat it properly ;) ) Thank you for experience! People writing that octopus is hard DOESN'T LISTEN what waiter are saying to you. ;)

We had a wonderful dinner in Seven Seas. You must have a reservation in advance for the dinner time, since there is a high demand and limited seating. Everything we order was very delicious and served in big portions. There was a good balance between the pricing and portions. We had calamari, tzatziki, aubergine salad, fried zucchini flowers and very tasty mixed salad. The sea view was also beautiful. Service was a little slow, but other than that it was fine.
