The gyros was delicious, but what truly stole the show was the sauce! Perfect texture, amazing flavor, and just the right balance – it complemented the meat without overpowering it. Fast service and a warm, friendly atmosphere.
My favourite place in Petra hands down. We have tried their moussakka, gyros, pork and chicken souvlaki, grilled veggies.. all of them were delicious and the atmosphere of the place is the cherry on top of the cake!

Petra'nın kalbinde saklı olan Kalderimi, adını bir zamanlar Midilli'nin köylerini birbirine bağlayan antik kaldırım taşlarından alır ve bu acelesi olmayan gelenek ruhu, mekânın sunduğu her şeye işlemiştir. Petra, adanın en sevilen destinasyonlarından biridir; köyün merkezinden dramatik biçimde yükselen büyük volkanik kayanın egemenliğinde, tepesinde Panagia Glykofiloussa Kilisesi ile taçlanmış olarak durur. Bu ortamda Kalderimi, hem ziyaretçiler hem de yerliler için doğal bir buluşma noktası işlevi görür; yiyecek, içecek ve Ege'nin tanındığı o içten misafirperverliği sunar.
Kalderimi'ye yapılan bir uğrak, masaya gelenlerin kadar atmosferle de ilgilidir. İsim, eski Midilli'nin dokusunu çağrıştırır — elle döşenmiş taş sokaklar, badanalı duvarlar, köy yaşamının yavaş ritmi — ve bu kimliği taşıyan bir mekân, bölgesel karaktere yaslanmayı tercih eder. İyi işletilen bir Yunan mekânının sade zevklerini bekleyin: yerel ouzo ve tsipouro, belki de yakın çevreden temin edilmiş mezeler ve öğleden sonranın gerektirdiği tempoyla içilen kahve.
Petra çevresini keşfeden, tepeye çıkarak kiliseyi ziyaret eden ya da yakınlardaki görkemli Osmanlı dönemi konağı Vareltzidaina'yı gezen ziyaretçiler için Kalderimi, dinlenip soluklanmak için biçilmiş kaftan bir mekândır. Petra, Midilli'den kuzey kıyısına uzanan ana yol üzerinde yaklaşık bir saatlik sürüş mesafesindedir; Kalderimi köyün merkezinde olup arabayı park ettikten sonra yürüyerek kolayca bulunabilir.

Please do not leave Petra without coming to this restaurant!!!! The food is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend the fillet mignon, cooked to perfection, so tender and juicy. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. We ate out at several restaurants but this was by far our favourite place so much so we ate here 3 times!! An absolute must you will not be disappointed.

Everything was perfect. We had pita bread, tzatziki, grilled vegetable and chicken gyros plate. Portions are generous and the food is delicious. They also have a lovely garden area where you can dine or you can take a gyros in pita bread to go. Thank you!

We read good opinions and were totally disappointed after visiting. Sarcastic waiter’s answers and comments, cold meat in hot giros, lamb souvlaki with blood, small portions with high prices and a waitress doing make up in a toilet. And diarrhoea at least in a 20 minutes after eating and leaving the place. Don’t recommend

It is good to mention these kind words of yours while you are in the place so that we can answer you on the merits and correct if there is something you did not like. Best gyros ever. We tried pork and chicken, both were great. Also hot fresh pita bread makes the experience more interesting. It makes you want to come back again only for this gyros from Turkey. Thank you. I highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious food and wine. The chargrilled chicken was so tasty, perfect with a Greek salad and tzatziki. Also came with fries and warm herby pitta bread. €41 euros including a beer and half litre of house wine. Highly recommend, the menu is extensive including traditional Greek dishes. The setting is simply beautiful, in the shadow of the famous church in Petra - a gem of a place will definitely come back

Another superb restaurant. Lovely setting on the cobbled streets in amongst trees. I had a delightful fillet mignon and my partner had the lovely mousakka. A wonderful place. Had the amazing Pork souvlaki 2 nights ago.

We came here as advised by a local; drive from Mythiline. We have tried many gyros and this is one of top theee. Amazing with Nissiopi local beer. A must try and eat!

The food was excellent, pita was fresh ans delicious. The meat was tender and juicy. We got a pita wrap kalameri & the meat mix grill- and it was fantastic. The server was not at all friendly and very curt with us.... there was another server with other tables who was kind but ours was not. They gave us a little cake as a surprise and it was light, sweet and delicious. Lots of cats hanging around here tho (more than I've seen elsewhere) and so I had some bites on my legs from insects. I'd likely not sit on the cushions next time.....
